I'm pretty pumped for that Punisher too. I'm really not sure how you can't be. If anyone wants the current MU black glove version; pm me. I won't be needing him anymore.

Prolly going to get them all. I like the New Avengers Iron Fist, Psylocke, Shadowland DD for my villains, updated Storm and Patriot for Avengers collection.

This seems like a placeholder wave, the wave before has great figures like X-23, Namor, and Commander Rogers and the wave after has Beast, the new AMAZING Hulk figure and Beta Ray Bill. This wave by comparison is crappy I'll just customize Psylocke the rest i don't really care about that much. oh well next years MU figs are F*^%ING AWESOME so far

I'll bite, I'll be getting Psylocke and Patriot just to have the new characters. I complained about the Namor wave because I only wanted X-23 and Darkhawk but I pre-ordered the set and Rogers and Namor grew on me. The more I look at these pictures the more I'm starting to like Storm and Thor.

Probably I'll pick up Storm for nothing else then the way better cape and the accessories. I don't have an Iron Fist yet so this one will do, gonna hold off on Patriot until I see if they're doing more of the Young Avengers, Thor and DD probably gonna pass and as for Psylocke, I like my custom better

I like yours more too, you can always pick up the new one and make an X-Force one out of it.

yep you did, but the overall figure/sculpt is definitely awesome despite the shitty paint app.

Have you seen the paint apps on the earlier waves of MU? The paint apps are not that bad on that Punisher shown at the SDCC. I guess people always find something to complain about.

I think the original poster didn't understand that is par for the course with painted samples shown by Hasbro. Typically for first run showings, until the figure goes to mass production, you get hand painted proto-types that shipped around for showings. That process (heat, travel, shipping) can takes it toll. Additionally, if you ever have tried to paint a figure using White acryllic, well, ack, it almost always looks like crap, especially if the parts are soft plastic or rubber (as you can see in the Punisher's belt and holsters). When the Capt. America line was being shown pre-production, the Capt. Britain sword had visibly peeling paint. The fact is that htese are mock-ups, not final product, thus the final "should" look much better (unless the painting machines suck ala some of the earlier Iron Man figures).

Only really looking forward to the Psylocke. The Storm is tempting, though, since I passed on the recent multi-pack as I owned versions of most of them already.

If low quality paint/materials or poor handling of the figs causes their mockups to look like that (peeling, dirty, etc) and that's considered par for course, I'd fire those morons responsible at Hasbro. Why make up excuses for them? They're in the business, they're the experts. If anything, mockups should be 100x better than final product - mockups are individually handcrafted, final products are made for the masses. I'm sure every collector has had their own share of experiences at the store, comparing multiple copies and picking the one with the best paint app...and those experiences involved tough choices huh? Don't fool yourselves folks, Hasbro's been consistently failing at all levels with paint app quality...

....anyways, just say'in! Love these Marvel figs nonetheless....

I'm not saying that I would do it, but it really is typical when showing a mock up. And everyone is still just as jazzed about the figures.

Is her X-Force outfit any different from her regular one? I don't remember what it looks like off the top of my head.

Definitely getting Storm and Psylocke from this wave!

Waves 2,4 from series 1. Wave 3 from series 2. This wave so far . But I know what you mean. Wolvi, Spidy And Iron are wayyy to over used. However I do Like the upcoming Spider-Man FF and the current Scarlet Spider.
