it sickens me this series has NOT had a PS3 release, its one of my favorite series of all time and i refuse to buy another system for one game...

If you like the traditional gameplay of Ace Combat, you might not like 6, which was on 360. 6 had the best technological advances hands down, but the gameplay was lacking.

In all honesty man it would not surprise me at all if 7 was made for both 360 and PS3. NamcoBandai has made games that are typically PS exclusive series, for 360, like Tekken and Ridge Racer. I definitely have a feeling 7 will be for both, lets just hope it goes back to the traditional gameplay which made it great.

*Also, the PSP versions should not be looked at as replacements for it's bigger console brothers; sure it does many things better than 6 and some of the PS2 versions but overall it's meant to be the best it can be for the PSP*

What I want in 7 are:

• Upgradable aircraft like in Ace Combat 5
• Upgradable tunable components like in Ace Combat X
• Music like in Ace Combat 2, 4, Zero and X
• Increases plane selection like 5/X
• XFA-27(returned in X)
• Arcade mode like in 5(Operation Katina; direct sequel to 4)
• Shorter missions than 6; more like X and the PS2 games
• More balanced multiplayer(better in the 1st update for 360)
• NERF'd QAAM
• Increased damage and better tracking from regular missles
• High damage from guns for planes like the A-10 and other high mm cannon armed fighters
• Classic aircraft like the F-8, A-4, MIG-17
• Epic storyline
• Less hype for the main character
