I know it's not really in your guys' regular wheelhouse, but I always appreciate the Gundam news. With Gundam Guy's blog dead, and others long gone, it's hard to find a good news outlet.

That Real Type Zaku is awesome.

Yeah, we backed off Gundam news a while back. Only one of us was really into it, he's not really active anymore, and it was hard to keep up. Plus, we've generally be refining what we cover.

This guy however is pretty cool. Super poseable, fun to mess around with.

Oh yeah, Robot Spirits is the real deal for mech figures. It's kind of a shame that Tamashii has slowed down so much on the line, because Iron Blooded Orphans has introduced some really, really cool designs. Thanks for the pics!

How much will he cost? He looks gorgeous I might preorder something like that but it sounds like it's a buy only at convention exclusive, right?

Also is there a way to get notifications of posts replys here? Like TFW does

Oh my god damn that Mazinger Z is glorious. I feel like you'd have to wear gloves or something just to handle it because there's no way it's not a fingerprint magnet.

Yes, he is a con exclusive. No word on whether they will be available online from them afterwards, but I don't think so. I think the goal is to bring them to multiple cities throughout the year at different events.

As for post notifications - you can subscribe to individual threads one by one at the top of any thread, or edit your settings for the whole site here under "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

TFW is on newer software so it's handled a bit different.

Yes, I had to microfiber him between every shot and it still wasn't fingerprint free.

Of note, this was a review sample so he had some imperfections. Mass release won't be like that.

Whatever happened to Gundam Guy? Looks like he just quit.

Anyway, sign me up as another one that would appreciate to see more Gundam updates here. I know you guys can't cover it all, but I also appreciate the special ones that you cover, and the photography, of course!

I am fairly certain the Body-chan and Body-kun figures were designed largely as artists models, and so being plain doesn't detriment them for their intended purpose. However, this new deco does look cool.
