Blame Digital River, not Mattel. Things will be much better once they get the My Subscription page up and running properly.

It's ignorance on the part of every unhappy customer that keeps going back for more.

Honestly, I know it's Digital River, but I don't care anymore. Mattel uses Digital River, therefore, Mattel has to take responsibility and accept everything DR does wrong as their own company doing it wrong. It's all about professionalism and pride, and Mattel has proven they have neither. Is it any wonder why they don't have any relationships with actual retailers? Retailers can't take the company seriously, and their stock in stores prove this. Digital River proves this on a monthly basis. I don't see Hasbro's lines only having two different characters on the peghooks with 10 of each. Yes, there are peg warmers, but usually Hasbro's stock is only 1-2 of that character. Not 10 Batmans and 8 Banes my Target currently has had on their peghooks since the day they came out.

Also, Hasbro is just as guilty. Try checking for Transformers Prime figures. 95% of the time you'll see 50 Bumble Bees and nothing else.

Really? I see pegs full of multiple characters. Bumblebee, Red ALert, Vehicon thing, some random dudes that have First Edition on their package for some reason, and other characters I don't give two ****s about.

It hasn't been as bad lately because the stores refreshed for xmas. But all summer long it was Bumble Bee or nothing at all. MAYBE an occasional Cliff Jumper. But that was it. I've started to see the repacks with the DVDs hit shelves. Still no FE tho.
Either way, once I get a MM Jim Gordon, and the very last MOTUC they put out. I can't see myself giving Matty another dime. |

Honestly, I'm not even sure I want to deal with Matty throughout all of 2013. It isn't even the new year yet and they already out to a bad start on my end. I think I might wait it out until I get my subscription figures and then can my card that has my Matty subs and just purchase everything on a quarterly basis from second hand sellers. Plus, this way, I don't get stuck with a horrible Red Hood if I don't want to. Same with those lackluster pilots for MOTUC.

Got my MOTUC monthly figs. My free fig was Stratos. Anyone looking for him? I was hoping for He-Man or Skeletor.

I was hoping for a Stratos or Buzz-Off myself. I wound up with Mer-Man as my freebie.

Yeah, I got a Stratos too. I was hoping for Mer-Man since he has been the most common to get so far. I have read reports of mainly Buzz-Off, Mer-Man, Stratos, and Sy-Klone being received so far.

I never got the 2 pack Stratos but I do have a ton of accessory pack gear I could go threw to out fit Stratos. He can exist in pre and post King Miro Masters teams. I'd rather get a female Avion Warrior.

I KNOW RIGHT? The shit we do/let them get away with for toys XD.
People will reply to you with "It's not their fault, its the retailers for ordering so many". Well before anyone says shit, retailers can't decide how much of a character they get so it is easily all Mattels fault on some level. Damn Mattel and their awesome product [most of the time] and shitty everything else. These lines don't sell well enough globally to warrant mass distribution, so the teams involved and the outsourced distribution process are a low priority. Don't forget, Mattel is actually the biggest toy company on the planet, far bigger even than Hasbro overall, but their focus is on a bunch of lines aimed truly at children, not our niche 80s nostalgia action. Still, the only way to generate action is to keep sending in the complaints...I would however recommend sending them higher up the chain so that eventually a VP pays someone a nasty visit and sets things straight. My 2 cents... James |

It's very evident that Mattel couldn't give a fuck about customer complaints. Especially regarding their mail order toy lines.
