I've become very skeptical when it comes to Thundercats, and Mattel. Hell, any company that tries to redo the classics. I fell in love with Playmates Classics Turtles and look where that got me. I was excited with the last TCats figures and that didn't end well either.

Toynewsi is claiming someone spotted Lion-O and Vulture man. I'm choosing to be excited for this. I hope Mattel is going to do the whole subscription thing but if so I'm down.

I'll believe it when I see it, and it probably won't be great.

Are you serious? The subscription Mattycollector crap is one of the worst things ever. Not to mention Digital River.

I hope they have Thundercats because I just want someone to do them. I am so freaking tired of all these collector waves for toys that do not have a cartoon or comic and not have thunderCats. I freaking loved ThunderCats when I was a kid and I tried to buy every toy I could get when the new cartoon came out. My daughter even loves ThunderCats and watches the new and old shows and she is 12. I hope they do not do a subscription group for them but if they do, I am totally stopping on all the other figures I collect to get in with that subscription.

I know I know but I really want some Thundercats figures. I have all of the Minimates and the ThunderTank statue. I'm skipping the Mezco figures (for now) because they're too big. If this is my only chance to potentially own every character that appeared in the original Thundercats cartoon then so be it.

^ Agreed. I consider this is exciting news!

I don't get all the hate for Matty Collector. I know lots of people have had problems but luckily I've never had an issue with them and I've subbed to MOTUC since the second year.

Because I had nothing but problems with them.

There was them accidentally forgetting to set my Rocket Red aside for my sub. There was the time they shipped my figures to my old address three month's in a row. Then there was an order where they had double charged me and double shipped me figures but refused to refund the second order's shipping costs. The number of times I had to call when my debit card was changed due to fraud protection and it still took them 5 months to finally start charging the right card the first time. Oh yeah, and then I paid for the UPS delivery for an item for $17 but they shipped it with their standard USPS method that was $8 cheaper but never refunded me.

Same here. Been subbing since year 2 and have had zero problems.

Hopefully the 4 Horsemen are involved in the sculpt work for these guys!
