Well that was deceiving. I went to check out the new pictures of Super-Skrull, and just got the same old Walgreens computer screen shot from like two weeks ago.

That's not really confirmation when all you posted is a computer screen that was posted last week.

Actually the first time I saw it was here in the 6" Appreciation thread some time ago, I don't remember who posted it but it was right before SDCC.

Does Hasbro still have the rights to the old ToyBiz version they used for the Skrull/Kree two-pack? Because that would be a great figure to rerelease.

I'd imagine so, given that I'm pretty sure it was Hasbro that released that Skrull/Kree two-pack.

I don't have high expectations that Hasbro will give us both Thing & Super Skrull in the correct scale/size. Watch em both be 7 inches tall. Both are 6ft tall in the 616 MU. keep em 6 inch scale Hasbro.

SS does not grow in hgt when he utilizes the powers of the FF! He can stretch like Mr Fantastic, that does not equate into sudden growth spurt in hgt. He can assume the forms of all 4 members. Again, doesn't equate to hgt growth. None of the members of the FF are over 6ft tall.

I find it weird that Walgreens keeps getting exclusives considering the toy aisle of every one I've been to is like 4 feet tall and 5 feet long.

The appeal of impulse buys, I imagine. Though of course all the ones near me are still drowning in unsold Namors, so that might not be the best strategy, LOL.

One of mine is drowning in Ant-Mans and DareDevils. I think Punisher is the only old exclusive I haven't seen at all recently.

I'm still confused why people think because they showed random Skrull images the toy will indeed look like those.

He has all of the powers of the Fantastic 4 plus the powers of being a Skrull. He's something of a powerhouse that gives guys like Silver Surfer reason to pause. He started way back when as the champion of the Skrull empire who was selected to receive the powers of the F4 to conquer Earth. Over time his devotion to the Skrull empire waned due to his sense of honor deeming their secret invasion to be cowardly and unnecessary. Eventually he rose up and was declared the new emperor of the new Skrull empire. He's become a lot more of a neutral character and has even helped heroes such as Nova, Silver Surfer, and pretty much every other cosmic hero during Annihilation.

Good thing too considering that no matter what they still always get their arses whooped. Even with their greatest plan ever Norman Osborn ended it by killing the the queen. Come on guys. Queen protection first. Invade second. I'm hoping he's got a nice build but that he isn't too big. Only because those shoulder Flair's get us closer to also having a new nightcrawler.

Personally I am a bit more used to him being lean but he's never really been skinny like Nightcrawler, at the very least he could serve as practice for how they might do Nightcrawler.

Not really sure how much of a confirmation this truly is. These same computer read-outs read of an "Ancient One" figure before the release date of the Doctor Strange wave, but that was changed somewhere in the process. Hasbro has just recently confirmed that Medusa and Mr. Fantastic will be the exclusives for Walgreen's next year. I don't see where this Super Skrull fits in with what was announced.

He fits with the theme, but not with the timing. Walgreen's Marvel Legends usually have two exclusives per year. Daredevil & Black Ant = 2015 ; Punisher & Namor = 2016 ; Invisible Woman & Human Torch = 2017 ; Medusa & Mr. Fantastic = 2018, etc. That would leave the Super Skrull being released at the earliest in 2019. Why would the store's computer be holding data for a figure that far in the future?

I think it may be possible that a Super Skrull figure was planned for release, but for whatever reason was skipped/replaced, but the data in the computers was not updated. We saw this occur with the "Ancient One" in the Doctor Strange wave, she turned out to be replaced with Enchantress.
