the weird snake man figure with a non snake head it looks cool and brand new I think with no reused regular characters head that I know of.

Plus the white Knight guard looks pretty cool. like Man at Arms dabbled in some holy magic and turned himself into a super knight or something

Origins Rio Blast finally came in the mail today. took long enough from Mattel Creations.

the Origins cartoon Orko looks cool but about the same as regular origins Orko.

I assume the beard accessory and the square eyes are of one of Orko's relatives from the old cartoon?

Overall, some very cool stuff, though Masterverse keeps doing different versions of the same characters too often, at least they're well done.

As a huge Thundercats fan who has been disappointed with Super7's overpriced figures, I'm really excited about this crossover, but the fact that the first two waves have all of the core original team members (minus the kittens and Snarf), I'm worried it might be short-lived. I would love to see this line go on AT LEAST as long as Turtles of Grayskull, if not longer. The figures shown so far all look great, though. Just give me a Ben-Gali and Hachiman, at least!

They did a favor by making them all new kitbashed creations and not traditional troop builders. The 2-headed snakeman in particular isn't very army-buildery. The evil warrior and Horde guy look too much like their faction leaders. Strange that they want Skeletor ro have minions that look like him, since a large part of the appeal of the evil warriors to me were they were a diverse group of monsters and weirdos. And Hordak has Horde Troopers, why does he need anyone besides more specialized robot Horde Troopers (like aqua trooper)?

I prefer single faction 2 packs for army building. But last year they did deluxe no-new parts army builder packs, with only the Horde Prime Trooper being a two-pack thanks to the recolored Classics hover bot.

Mattel seems to be deliberately avoiding remaking the Classics Snake Warriors for the Origins Snake-Men.

It's based on some early concept art. The head is a color match for the Hordak figure from the Target exclusive Sketch Book 2 Pack.

Mattel Creations calendar was updated to show MOTU Origins Fright Zone Playset going live Friday June 27th. Labeled as a Member Exclusive, which requires Club Grayskull @ $9.99 per year. Shows a "$$" sign which I believe means it's under $100.

EDIT: MOTU Origins Sharella was also added as an upcoming release. June 24th, Member Exclusive, $$ sign for price.

It was nice of them to only make Blade available through EE and BBTS. I only found out about it this morning, and it's already pre-sold out at both places, and it only went up two days ago!! >:-@

This my favorite version of Terror Claws. I've always been a big of this version of Skeletor and this hits everything for me. New Eternia is operating at another level and bringing new energy to MOTU that has been sorely needed.
