I snagged a bunch of movie avengers Figuarts for cheap to replace my Marvel Selects. I know they are all “Chinese versions” and what that means, my only question is for those who also have purchased these... are the following 75% or higher comparable quality to the originals?
Age of ultron Hawkeye
Civil war antman & capt america
Infinity war hulk, widow, and thor

I know the Chinese versions have greatly improved since the first avengers figures, and a friend bought Chinese version and official Japanese version and the paint on his Chinese version has better eyes and not squeaky to move.

Any other experiences?

(Ps, for you white knights out there, I do have an official Ironman, and plan to get official scarlet witch and others. I just don’t want to wait on the back catalog and had a bunch of eBay bucks)

You might check out this Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/dstar01

He does a lot of reviews of KO figures and looks to have reviews of all of the figures you mentioned except for that particular Ant Man.

I don't own any of the figures you mentioned (official or KO) but I did purchase a KO Figuarts Homecoming Spiderman back in 2017. Overall the figure looked pretty good and was very comparable to photos of the official Spiderman. But there were some definite problems.
  • The butterfly joints could only move forwards and backwards. Not up and down like the official.
  • One of the arms would occasionally pop out of its socket.
  • One of the wrist joints keep coming apart when ever I swapped a hand.
  • The hands were incredibly difficult to change and felt like the peg hole was too small for the wrist peg.
  • The head didn't come apart which made it next to impossible to swap the eyes.

The only KO that I've had any success with have been some of the Neca Ninja Turtles. The other KOs that I've purchased haven't been worth the money.

Thanks for the link. I watched a few, and seems to be what I expected. I’m ok with not perfect paint, because I really only need them as place holders, because I really like the bladed Ironman, and need Avengers to go with him. But just to be safe, I’m gonna stock up on epoxy just in case. I’ll post a follow up next month when I get everything.

Just got them all in. Not great, but considering I got 6 figures for the price of 1, I can't complain too much. These'll work great as place holders since I'm late to the Figuarts Avenger party.
