Great pics of Whip and Skelly! I can't tell for certain but it looks like the inside Wiplash's tail is concaved. If so does it help or hinder the flexibility? Is the tail wired?
Overall, how do you like him? Last edited by firmpulse; 05-18-2023 at 10:11 AM.. |

Seriously, this is sooo anatomically incorrect. Why is Whiplash's tail coming out of the middle of his back, not his waist? The 200X design and toy could do that right, but the so-called Masterverse cannot? Disappointing.

SO the tail is a bit concaved, but it's a firmer plastic. This isn't bendy arms like Doc Ock's limbs etc. It can rotate on the peg, and then it has some slight bend in any direction. Like you need two hands to get it to 90 degrees, and it will slide back to like 45 or so. No precise bending going on. Good enough to get into a balance for some back leaning poses.
Overall it's a sharp sculpt, and if you take the gear off he's very classic. Can also remove the forearm braces, I just forgot. |

Haha no, loin cloth stays on. But the purple armor pieces and the arm braces come off, returning him to a vintage MOTU look if desired.

Given the severe lack masterverse at retail brick and mortar stores it sure seems like it.

Odd to give that info with no photos or package art.
I was expecting Terroar-oar-aroar...whatever his stupid name is and Lord Gr'asp. Less new tooling. Instead we get what sounds like a lot of new tooling. Also, based on descriptions the snakemen...snakepersuns will be the $30 exclusives like Camo Khan and Sun-Man. And why not offer them at once? Instead, fans will paying more shipping is why. I guess. Will Mattel take Paypal and discover card again? Or are they still jerks? |
