However the biggest sin committed during the first wave of Revelation was the fact He-Man could not sit on Battle Cat.

I'm a casual "pop-in" collector too. I was surprised at the well thought out accessories included in these new offerings. I've liked figures here and there. But, the design team seems to hit their stride with this new Masterverse wave. Especially the New Eternia stuff. I do not remember a wave being what I would call "strong" before this.

Now...if they could just sculpt a Teela portrait that wasn't dog ass ugly they'd be in biz.
On top of the figs being solid this wave, the package refresh is very sharp, as seen at SDCC. Got serious Classified vibes, lots of art. It's a good reset point.

Not seeing a preorder anywhere for Origins Filmation Man-At-Arms. He seems to be the only one missing aside from the Walmart exclusive Terroar and Lord Grasp. Has it been said if Necro-Conda is going to be exclusive?

Again, I agree. The new package design is beautiful. It displays the figures well and the painted art is fantastic. If Classified returned to the ARAH roots of painted art that would be incredible. The Retro carded figure art is a poor representation of what it COULD be.

Yeah, that is some sexy package art! I'm not a masterverse or MIB collector but I could see myself buying these just to display like that.

Maybe it's the lighting, but Evil-Lyn's eyes look a little too dark. Meg Foster's eyes almost look white on film.

And in real life! They have an almost other worldly quality.

The Masterverse stuff always looks great. I though I was done with getting anymore He-Man but now I have to get that He-Man... sigh... Not feeling the new Skeletor though.

Got reminded of that recently. I saw 'They Live' as a theatrical screening on Labor Day weekend.

Between her and Frank Langella, they were he real highlights for me in the MOTU film.

Yeah I ain't diggin it either. I get what they were going for. I just don't think they did it well. Randor's crown is throwing me off too. Spoiler alert, I guess.

Yeah man. I remember those two made that film. I feel like Dolph could have been a good He-Man had the script not been so...well, what it was. But I haven't seen it in 30 years. So he may not have been as good as I remember.

He was not viewed as a strong enough actor to carry the film, thus they made it more of an ensemble film. Thinking about it, that is probably a good approach for any MOTU film. My biggest problems was really just the costuming. I just wanted the characters to be closer to the toys or cartoon. I know Gwildor was created as a replacement for Orko since they couldn't do a decent Orko (likely to be animatronic in those days) with the budget they had.

I thought Orko & Gwildor was going to cost the same as a regular Masterverse since they're both tiny. Seeing it's deluxe priced, I retract my kudos to Mattel.
