So grabbing Arkham City Batman. Major pass on the rest. Pink Mr Freeze? REALLY? couldn't at least make him sky blue? Very depressing start to a promising series.

It's an homage to the Super Powers Mr. Freeze. So probably intended to be more "purplish" than pink, but yeah, it's garish. Intentionally so.

What the hell happened to that Modern Age Batman? Does Liefeld draw for DC now?

I'm here 'til Thursday; try the veal!

Man, the proportions just look awful.

Also, I dig the Street Fighting Brofist. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Well, from his expression I think it's clear Batman hasn't been getting enough fiber in his diet. That really is an ugly figure. I understand cutting costs and that mold was actually pretty cool when it first came out, but it boggles my mind that anyone could look at that and say, "Yeah, this'll sell like hotcakes!"

It's a bummer that they gave that Freeze elbow joints but not the older one

Its Mattel's poor ass attempt to release the Super Powers of the character by repaint the old sculpt in the SP colors rather than putting out new sculpt that closely matches the SP version's armor.

I know it's in vogue for all of us to diss on Mattel, but honestly, that's just friggin' lazy. I look forward to seeing Mr. Freeze warm pegs for months to come.

Haha. Warm. Sorry, I'm sick right now.

That's fine man I prefer the regular deco. I remember how hard it was to find in 06 too!

All over Arkham Batman and the Gordon/Lau kidnap suit Bruce. Wish the mask was more form fitting though.

Totally agree with you on this. I think Mattel is a great company by giving what some DC collectors have wanted for years, an updated version slightly expanded version of the Super Powers collection, I bet this particular figure happened the way it did because they got the 4H's hands to in too many pots.
I hope you feel better.

Agreed. And thanks man. I'm feeling better, just got a nasty cough... I had to have almost given my girlfriend a heart-attack all last night from all the random mid-sleep coughing fits

The Arkham City Batman looks great, but I also like the Batman Begins Gordon figure. Very nice.

Arkham City Bats looks good, as does Two Face.

Hoping Gordon gets a single card release, I am not interested in the Prototype Batman that comes with him.

IIRC Arkham Bats is sculpted in house by Mattel...which I think they did a great job with, far better than their upcoming Green Lantern Movie Masters.
