DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTE!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!
I was specifically referring to stuff that isn't out yet, and a majority of the legends you mentioned are already out.

I don't know why y'all are saying they have no ankle tilt. Admittedly, I haven't bought a Multiverse figure yet, but those all look distinctly like they have ankle-tilt engineering. All the different leg angles, and they all stand flat-footed.

I think it's because none of Mattel's recent Multiverse figures (the Clayface wave) have them and all of these new figures look to be using the same articulation scheme or even just the same parts.

Wow! A figure of Ray Terrill?!? That was one of my favorite Joe Quesada miniseries from the 90s. Must have.

Because they don't?

Even the multiverse signature collection figures, at a higher pricepoint and with double jointed knees and elbows. Even with the toe joint, still doesn't have ankle tilts.

In fact, to my knowledge, not a single figure in their lines DCSH to Multiverse have ankle tilts.

Even the figures who get revamped and are new molds lack them.

But you said this:

Quote:
Hasbro is putting out this year so far.
If you meant for stuff that hasn't come out yet then that's because they haven't really revealed that much to come out yet. I believe most of their reveals are happening tomorrow at their panel.

Because they don't have ankle rockers/tilt/pivots. Even their premium higher cost line that has toe articulation does not have them.

Gonna get that Owen for my Beasts of the Mesozoic display (yes, I realize he's not the right scale... but it's FUNNY!). Blue will be ebay'd.

Wow, that's a really good Chris Pratt likeness for Mattel. Really excited at the potential of this line. Seeing the Ian silohoutte has me really hoping for an Alan & Ellie to join him. Would also love some good 6in. dinos, too!!

So at Mattel's panel Pixel Dan had to specify which figures would include ankle rockets. The Aquaman movie stuff, Vixen, and Harley Quinn. That's pretty pathetic. Not that only like 8 figures out of the 40ish shown off or announced would have them, but the fact that he has to announce those figures as having something that should be a standard in the first place.

Oh, and Mattel is also jumping on the stupid Ninja Batman and Joker bandwagon.

I would LOVE a Hot Toys Ian Malcolm. Would scale perfectly with my feathered raptors. No offense to Sam Neill, he’s a solid actor, but Jeff Goldblum just really pops in every movie he’s in. Even tripe like Cats & Dogs get a giggle from me when he’s on screen.

Everyone is a ninja today... even though the real “ninjas” as seen in movies (clad in black masks and robes) never existed. Read in a book a few years ago by a guy researching the ninja phenomenon. It was actually some of the earliest examples of fake news.

There were assassins for hire and spies in feudal Japan, but rather than pajamas, they dressed as regular farmers, or servants. The black clad masked men of the old Japanese art was propaganda. In Japan at that time, to sneak around was dishonorable. To wear a mask was dishonorable. So in the art of the time, they made ninja as men sneaking around in masks... cowards! They were dressed in black because it represented hiding in shadows, another cowardly act. That’s why you see the ninjas on the small, too. The samurai in the art is often huge, with no helmet on. Facing the cowards.

Glad to see that the Lobo and Kingdom Come Superman are actually happening. I'm also pleased with a number of these other reveals/confirmations even though I'm not gonna actually buy most of them, it's just nice to see the variety. Of course one thing I have to remind myself of every time Mattel shows something at convention is that more than just about any other company Mattel likes to present us with these finely hand-painted fantastic looking figures at the show but then nowhere near as much care is actually put into the paint on the final releases. They can still come out as well done but never as pretty as what we were shown.

I really want that Lynda Carter Wonder Woman. Rebirth Nightwing and Wally West Flash are both pretty cool too. I just hope they get well distributed which seems to be the biggest issue in my area.

Wow the JW Owen looks better than everything DC Mattel does. Why can't we get those elbows?

Still, Lobo and Terry will probably be ones I hunt down. If Starfire looks that good, maybe her too. The ankle rockers don't even bother me, its how terrible the elbows are is my breaking point. And their's too

Wow, Mattel has knocked these out of the park, especially the ladies of DC. That Black Canary w/ alt head & Starfire are my current favorites of the new reveals.

Oh awesome! A ton of new Multiverse figures that look great and I actually want to get but probably won't because they'll never show up in any of the stores around here. Maybe I can manage to snag Batman Beyond online somewhere for a decent price.
