The ordering process was a bit painful.

I can’t even log in at entertainment earth. I just get error every time. I have one in my cart after trying for the last 30 minutes but are they trying to see if they can tick off more people than neca. Lol.

Savage was already a better wrestler, and apart from Flair, Piper, and maybe The Road Warriors has the absolute best promos.

EE was bad this morning but I was luckily able to grab him.

Nice shots Tony!

Do you have to "open" the Slim Jim packaging to get him out?

Not via the pull tab style thing. That looks functional, but is not necessary to open. You open via top flap like a normal boxed situation thankfully.

Just via tension. They did a good job with tolerances there, I got mine in and out dozens of times and they still fit and stick now that I'm done.

I tried to get this but EE just kept crashing. I would add it to my cart when it came up but when I tried to check out it just showed an empty cart. That sucks too, this was really the only SDCC I wanted and of course it is impossible. I don't even collect WWE but this guy was a great dose of nostalgia. Oh well I am sure the scalpers had a blast with this one. I really wish there was a way to get these out to collecters and not scalpers. Like one per person or something. Wasn't meant to be.
Maybe he will be released without the Slim Jim packaging or something in the future. One can hope.

No joke though, I would probably fly to Cali for some updated Road Warriors. They were my all time favorites as a kid.

Thank goodness I missed him. I have no interest in wrestling and no interest in Slim Jims. But I remember the commercials on TV and the ads in comic books so this was a weird nostalgia itch that I DO NOT NEED to spend $30 on to scratch....

I suggest you look at that photo shoot again before you try to remove them. Stronger (and more evil) men (and not-exactly-men) have tried, and failed. Rather than a beefy, juicy taste, they are feasting on humiliation. Heed their warning lest you get a taste of your own. OOOH no.

Absolutely! He definitely belongs up there with Savage, Flair and Piper as far as promos.

So let me get this straight. You have to preorder and pay for an exclusive on their site BEFORE the convention, then you go up to their booth to prove you are attending with your receipt, ID, and badge, but then they are going to ship you your item AFTER the convention?

Am I understanding this right? Because if so, who the fuck at Mattel thought that was a great idea? It's like they said, "Hey, you know how everyone hated Digital River when we had Matty Collector? Well let's make them wish Digital River was still working with us."

Oh my god. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry over the hilarity of this situation.

That is correct. Mattel definitely wins the worst con exclusive experience. This is like cartman opening a theme park....and you can’t come.

So what happens if someone suddenly can't attend the con? Is Mattel going to refund that person's order?
