Exactly. I don't know what Mattel is thinking.Perhaps, they will be available at the end of the year or something. I don't know.

Seriously I am going to have to buy a scalped Kits set on eBay for $120. Sigh. Yeah let's build interest in the line.

I am so sorry guys. That is utter bullshit that they are doing that to TC fans. I could understand doing obscure characters for SDCC or variants, but not two of the most important characters on the show.

Kit and Kat are the SDCC exclusives?

Two main characters....wow.

I was already losing interest in the set I preordered, and knowing that those two are SDCC exclusives just kill my interest for the line even more.

How can you be serious about a Thundercats line, hype up the crowd, and then deliver two main characters as con exclusives?

Wow. I don’t really care about Thundercats but this is screwed up. And unlike the NECA situation where they were legally forced to only release their stuff at SDCC, this is fully in Mattels power, it's their decision.

I just hope fans can raise enough hell for them to realize what a shitty decision this is and make them available in a subscription.

Believe he's referring to 7" scale TMNT, which their license only allows for at con sales.

Those Thundercats exclusive are really cool, back then I hoped Bandai will make an articulated version of the modren Wily kittens. Yeah, Mattel sucks, especially when it comes to boy toys. Such a shame, the Thundercats license didn't stayed at Bandai, they made highly articulated action figures with the stability and prices of playline!

I agree, she looks way better then most DC Super Hero Girls; her head looks more proportionate, however she still suffers from 5 year old hands.

The panda man looks neat, what a bummer that he is sold as an SDCC exclusive with heroin addict/ WWE wrestler joker. Hasbro also released flocked action figure as a part of SDCC exclusive. Why all the flocked toys are exclusive?! I love flocked toys, currently the only ones who are worth buying in the toy market are Sylvanian families/ Calico critters.

The exclusive Halo figure looks great, but again the entire Halo line by Mattel feels to me like a middle finger fo DC fans. It's like they're saying: "Of course we are capable of making decent action figures, we just don't give damn".

To conclude, I still think Mattel is a horrible toy company, but all this year SDCC exclusives from various companies are very impressive including Mattel. It seems this going to a better SDCC from last year very lame SDCC.

Aren't they just SDCC exclusives because they are based on the video game? That sounds pretty normal to me. I'm sure they will eventually do a non-pixelized Shredder.

Neca specifically stated that they could only release those figures at cons due to the licence agreement

They always say that, but then eventually find a way to release a figure with a DVD. Remember the 8-Bit Keaton Batman? Everyone was paying $200 and up for custom painted ones, then NECA released an official one, but you could only get it with the movie. Same thing with the Ledger Joker, Reeve Superman, and West Batman. I figure they'll release regular painted versions of this new TMNT set with the original movie.

Have they uped their game a lil' bit or do they remain the "bringer of torture" everybody hate?
I can't stand Matty for screwing me out of 4 large scale Voltron lions. They wouldn't let me pay for the red lion they sent me and because they screwed up and told me i CAN change the card info by email, then didnt change it, it made it so it automatucally went in the system. Or so they saud by email weeks later. So they couldn't do anything to let me pay for my red lion and lance, which I thought was strange. because they had no customer service by phone it didnt make it any eaiser

True, NECA and WB were able to work out a loophole, but with Playmate's still apparently holding the master toy license for TMNT, I doubt they'll be able to find a loophole this time. I hope they do, I really do, but I'll be really surprised if they can.

What about the mattypalooza sale that takes place after comicon? Someone mentioned on another site these Thundercats exclusives will probably be available to subscribers then?

My Batman didn't come with a DVD. I paid $25 at TRU for the figure only.
