You got lucky. Some stores allowed selling the figures without the movie bundle. I had a friend get me the Joker and Superman that way, but all the stores by me made you get the DVD with it. At least they could have gone with the Blu-Ray. Who still buys DVD's?

I thought Matty was going to mirror the initial MOTUC releases and have Jaga be the initial figure, much like how King Greyskull was the first MOTUC figure released. It would have been a cool nod to MOTUC since the first figures sold on matty.com were He-Man and Beast Man and the first Tcats are Lion-O and Jackalman (the main hero and an orange furred henchman).

I don't understand when people complain about getting a free DVD with certain NECA figures. Well, technically you are getting a free toy with the purchase of a very overpriced DVD that is usually found in $5 bins I mean, sure you are pretty much forced into getting a DVD...but it's free so what's the big deal? Take it to a store that buys DVDs and make a really small profit easy peasy lemon squeezy

Not really as I could have sold the DVD off and made a few dollars back.

They seriously are calling her Orion SPACE Girl???? This is the same kind of bull shit of being so overly PC about shit. She has been the Orion SLAVE Girl for 50 years. Just like Slave Leia was called for 35 years.
People need to just deal with it and stop trying to please every little group as not to offend.

That being said... I have a thing for green girls and need to know what size this is??
Is she on the same size body as the SDCC she-Ra or is she on the larger Monster High body??

Comedy gold. Nice figure though.

The invisible jet looks kind of cheap and nasty.

Was quite excited about the jet until I realized it's just the crappy packaging. Lame.

I personally don't see the supposed "extra quality" when it comes to the picture and sound, so I don't care.

Multiverse Wonder Woman my ass. That's just the crappy Infinite Heroes WW from the SDCC Starro set.

Couldn't even be bothered to make a new 3.75 Diana huh Mattel? Or just shrink down the Dawn of Justice figure? Sorry to sound negative but I really enjoyed the Multiverse line before they decided to ruin it.

Not to sound too pernickity because I agree with your basic point, but if I recall correctly Leia wasn't called 'Slave Leia' until many years after the film. I remember her being referred to as 'Jabba's Prisoner' back in the day.

Is that definite? I like the plane packaging - if it's opening and closing, but to put the low artic Infinite figure in seems like an insult, especially if it bears the 'Multiverse' tag.

I actually think that Wonder Woman exclusive looks pretty cool and fun. I realize that it's just the Infinite Heroes WW and that the plane is just the packaging, but it's still a fun idea regardless.

I was scared at first that it was a new Golden Age DCUC WW in there and that I'd need to track it down. Fortunately, I don't get the Infinite stuff so I can just admire it from afar and hope that somebody has the idea to cast that plane packaging in a size that'll fit a 6-inch WW figure. THEN I'd be all over that.

Excuse the nitpick, but that Wonder Woman blister pack has a propeller in front, not engines on the wings, it is an airplane not a "jet".

Science.

I can understand their apprehension. I mean, Barbie is generally marketed to little girls, and I doubt they want even fictional alien slavery associated with that brand name.

Are you watching movies on a smaller tv? Because DVD pictures are 640x480, so if they're viewed on bigger screens that's like resizing a thumbnail bigger and you see pixels. So if you played a DVD for a theater audience it would be very poor quality at that size. Blu-Ray's are 1920x 1080, plus the restoration on many older movies and higher picture quality.

The best comparison for you to see the difference would be to pick up the Jaws 4k restoration Blu-Ray and play the previous existing DVD after that and tell me you don't suddenly notice every flicker, lint, speck and grain from the original. Night and Day difference. But if you do watch on a small tv then it might not be a big deal to you.
