I bet they re-use DC classics bodies and paint on all the details.

Then Toy Guru will be telling us if we sub we can get the 10 unreleased Max Steel characters.

Uh, Hot Wheels and Barbie would like a word with you.

(But I get your overall point, and their recent track record does not do them any favors).

And that they have to get a minimum of so many subs before they can even consider doing it. Fans will argue over classic vs. modern releases. And the ones that do come out will be mis-assembled or prone to breaking.

I can understand why Mattel did it. With shows like Ben 10 and Generator Rex endlessly being shown on CN (in the UK at least) but if the show and toys ain't cool then Max Steel will be the poor mans version of those established shows. Just from the trailer Max seems a bit of a d-bag

I noticed that it's only the heroes name that's used from the old Max Steel

Not sure what scale the figures would be, 3 1/2 inch (knowing Mattel they'll be crap), 6 inch (which would get support for 20 Waves and then get boned or have 80 versions of the Main Characters) or 12 inch that means only 12 inch collectors would get
