Someone should write MCFarlane and tell him what we really want

What bugs me most is:

He does not use the Technology of the Future.
He has EVERYTHING he needs. Look at the Predator Figures from Neca.

The last good Figure he produced was the 10th Anniversary Spawn
fully articulated, available as Masked and Rare unmasked Version.

I mean, MCFarlane loved his creations so much, and many Fans also did.

But he will not do a Second Movie or Articulated Figures, and that is very sad. Every Year he says the same:
"Yes another Spawn Movie will follow"

But it will not. He kept saying this, for around...10 Years or so.
Nothing happend, and nothing will.

The Spawn Statues are only a sad attempt for Cash Grabbing.

i really would love to hear his logic behind this..unless the quality look, statue thing, is what he's going for.

Spawn figures didn't become little statues until the beginning of the 2000s and they carried on as such until about 2008 or 2009. I bought quite a number of the different plastic statues because I did like some of the poses like the issue 43 one where Spawn's supported by a metal rod to give him a flying effect and his cape is all crazy around him. This new offering on the other hand has a very vanilla pose so it's a pass, as a creation of the '90s Spawn looks "extreme" and he needs extreme poses to keep it cool.
Spawn sure, they were actually action figures in the beginning, and they were play-withable when they first came out. I mean, they had at least as much articulation as the 8000 obscure Toy Biz X-Men characters that were constantly marked down to $1.50 in KB Toys. Movie Maniacs line, not so much. Here's your Freddy figure--you can move his head as much as you want and one arm... Have fun!

But that's all we had back in ye oldern days. We didn't know any better.

Yeah and EVERY Company evolves.

Even Neca, that started with Action Figures....but not good ones.

As he said above "here is your Freddy Figure, you can move Head and 1 Arm and thats it"

Now the Ultimate Versions will follow, even from Older Predator Figures, that had very good articulation in the Beginning.

It is because even Neca realized what fans really want.

There are statue collectors out there, i know, but i think
ever collector wants to....change the poses of the Action Figures on the shelve from time to time.

He should license his own character out and let someone else have a go at it... simultaneously...
Other companies do it all the time. Lets have some Figuarts, and Hot Toys Spawns as well.(so they can actually move)
I would totally re-start reading Spawn if we get a nice Figuarts Spawn Line

We really didn't, I still have a few movie maniacs lying around. I guess we got caught up reveling in, for the time, the amazing sculpts. We didn't know we also wanted articulation because it wasn't even an option.

Yep NECA's come a long way, I actually ignored them for awhile because they appeared so much like what McFarlane had already given us. Then in 2013 I decided to check back in them and was immediately quite impressed with how they had included more articulation without compromising the look or the price point. I kinda wish I had gotten into NECA a bit sooner because I missed out on some pretty good stuff, although with the ultimate Jungle Hunter predator coming out that crosses out the big one I missed.

Wow, a statue. How awesome, if this was 20 years ago. How about getting into the modern era McFarlane?
