$70-$75?! Yikes! NECA has officially cleared the $35 for figures now. I still really want these figures, but that price is way too much for what you’re getting.

I know that there is the pandemic, shipping delays, inflation and all the other factors that go into pricing, but this is ridiculous. At this rate a standard with two hands an extra head and one accessory is going to be $40 on average by 2022

I mean you really explained well why they're $35 figures. I don't think anything NECA is less than $30 at retail anyway, so this isn't too bad IMO.

This isn't just NECA, all Black Series figures are supposed to be $25 as the MSRP. Many are $23 already. It's happening all across the board for all figure lines.

True, but NECA prices have been getting ridiculous for years now way before the pandemic was a factor.

Diamond selects prices have creeped up too, but not nearly to the same degree and they include diorama or build a figure pieces. And somehow McFarlane is still selling detailed, fully articulated figures (albeit with less accessories) for the $20-25 price point sometimes less. You can’t tell me if NECA produced a figure today with the heft and size and detail of the Violator it wouldn’t be upwards of $100.

I only harp on this because NECA used to pride themselves as the guys with the most detailed figures at a competitive price. This is far from the case now. Still love their products, but I’ll have to significantly cut back.

Just beautiful as always with Neca. That said, Neca has yet to ever have a new “Halloween” figure released for Halloween. It’s always months late. Strike while the iron is hot. I guess maybe it’s so Neca can get more accurate movie looks, but this has always bugged me with Neca. Going back over a decade.

Shout! Factory now owns 1, 4, and 5 as they snatched the movies up the moment Anchor Bay's contract ended. Shout! has also partnered with NECA for special promotions like they did with Slumber Party Massacre.
