I know that. WB Games publishes the current MK games and makes everything DC related from games to movies.

It's a crime Sonya hasn't had a figure yet. Someone at McFarlane needs to smack Todd around to get him to put Sonya in the next wave.

I really dont get mcfartlames stance on this. If he made them, and in not sucky costumes, they would definitely sell. And if he took his head outta the fucking 90’s and included alternate heads, hands etc they would likely fair much better. He really needs to get with the times.

Yeah. Why is he so stubborn about it? Some of the DC Multiverse and Spawn figures have alternate hands included, but I don't know why he has his company make new figures for unmasked figures.

I really think it just boils down to him wanting to keep things at that $20ish mark. Which is why the figures lack paint apps in a lot of cases. The unmasked variants/ gold labels, etc. are just to get more money out of the mold. Well over half of his figures, maybe even closer to 75%, are completely new tooling. So, if he can reuse some of them to offset the cost, he'll continue to do so. Trust me, I would definitely pay $35-$40 for them if they were akin to NECA's ultimates, in terms of accessories and paint apps. But, then, me being me, if a figure came with 2 heads, then I would buy 2 of them, so…I guess I'm ok with it how it stands. I think the thing he is being most stubborn about is having the least expensive action figures around the 6-7" scale on the pegs.

Almost wonder if WB is making him add in Batman characters to the line like they supposedly dictate the DC Multiverse line.

From the purview of a random consumer looking to buy a toy that caught thier eye..what makes Sonya visualy appealing and worth making a figure for retail?
