These are very McFarlane... but they look good, especially for the price. Wish they were making Spock and Data next instead of STD characters.

I think the Kirk looks pretty decent, but the Picard didn't fare quite as well. I'm hoping it's the lighting they used, as I am very much looking forward to these figures.

I’m just glad they’re not using the original makeup looks they promoted before. They look good for what they are I think. I mean I think this Picard looks better than the QMX one.

I guess I'm spoiled by Legends but the limited articulation is a bummer.

The hand painted protos were great, other than Kirk's overly blushed cheeks.

Both look okay. Jean Luc looks a bit shinny and face seems to be lacking details of an aged man.

Shame they will do STD which will kill the line immediately. STD, much like Star Wars, openly hates fans....

I'm prepared for the same QC issues and out-dated articulation/joints as the Stranger Things figures- but I know I'm going to buy them anyways. Looking forward to seeing how they compare to the still respectable Art Asylum Trek figures.

I mean, they're a different scale and have articulation instead of interchangeable parts... So... Yeah, they are different

(Mcfarlane's are a 7" scale whereas DST's are more 8" scale)

I'm still looking forward to getting Picard even if his face winds up being a bit off.

I guess they’re waiting to see how these do? Really wanna see what they have planned after Kirk & Picard. My guess would be Spock & Data... other than that, looking forward to these... hope we can get a good line going here

I need that Kirk figure. Kirk and Spock, and maybe a command chair (assuming the leg joints permit a seated position), and then life will be complete.

I wonder how they’ll mesh with NECA figures? I’d like to have that Picard on my shelf with Dutch, Rambo, Batman and other 80s heroes (Kirk I will likely buy simply on principle, LOL).

The Picard they showed in the Star Trek episode of Toys That Made Us looked really good, just hoping these are over-processed promo shots like Hasbro's Marvel Legends pics...

Picard is disappointing. Kirk looks fine. I'll get both. Maybe. I want the bridge crews from TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and DIS but if McFarlane are going to release two figures every six months or something that is never going to happen.

I think Patrick Stewart has a difficult-to-capture likeness. Even the high-end statues don't really get him right. They really focus in on his nose and then the rest of the face suffers.

Man, I'm more disappointed in Picard's accessories than articulation or anything. I can't imagine posing him in any acrobatics, but it's more natural for him to stand around with props.

I'd love at least a cup of Earl Grey and/or a PADD. Kirk gets a big ass extra phaser rifle, if they didn't want to waste any additional molding on accessories, Picard could have gotten TNG's type 3 rifle. I'm sure that'd be reusable for future figures.

Anyway, not terrible for the price point. It's a lot cheaper than paying for 2nd hand Art Asylum figures.

Ummm, he comes with the flute. Does that count? They really should have thrown in the tea too.
