Justice Lord Superman would be an instant purchase if it wasn't for that terrible pre-posed cape. Cloth or a more neutral pose would've worked.

No photos allowed, but McF is showing off new 3" Page Punchers for Transformers & G.I. Joe!
Don't know what I'll do with 3" Joes (what comics will they even come with?) but I'm intrigued... |

Waaaait, we are getting a separate Batman TAS Alfred, with all accessories, as a mainline release? Not packed with a Batcave that costs like 600$ on ebay? I LOVE you McFarlanes!

I wonder if Renee Montoya will also get a single release (only available previously in the GCPD set) |

Mcfarlane is so close to doing great things with Superman.
He needs a traditional superman buck. Not with sculpted lines. He is Making supes ugly. Take a classical handsome man and there you go. No goofy jaws or stupid facial features. He almost always doesn't do the "S" correctly or never adds it on the cape. 3 sets of hands...flight, punch and a grasping hand. I don't mind nd the windswept capes but come on, get the basics right. |

The Aquaman movie stuff looks better than I thought and that year 2 Batman statue is sick.

Random Thoughts:
I love that I'm getting a second chance to get the Batcycle from TAS. I hate cell shading. Superman '66 is almost acceptable but, much like Batman, the way the cape attaches to the rest of the costume is just wrong. Didn't McFarlane state early on that he wasn't a fan of BAFs? I could swear he insisted he'd simply release figures individually, even if they were oversized. Are sales slumping? Is this a request from retailers? |

It's sexist and offensive that the designs for Batman and Robin's suit feature nipples...but Batgirl's does not.

I also remember him saying that when the line was fresh, if it was even out yet, but that tune changed very quickly and they started doing BAFs less than a year into the line.

Other than Fewture, a Japanese company (Devilman) doing 2 BAFs. Mcfarlane was the 1st US company to do a BAF with Metal gear solid series 2 in 2001 (BAF was Metal Gear Ray). (Not a combiner like devastator or mcdonalds inspector gadget) An actual part packed with a seperate figure.. So he may not have liked it but he started it. Toybiz didn't start BAFs till 2005 with Galactus. (Sentinal bases don't count)
