Street Date: 2022-03-16 MSRP: $20 Price I Paid: $18 Scale: 7-inch (or 1/10) GameStop.com started shipping him last week, though it looks like BBTS has him in stock now, too. ---------- If you haven't kept up with current DC continuity, Damian Wayne has become ostracized from most of the other heroes. Instead, he interacts much more with his mother Talia (and to some extent Ravager, Deathstroke's daughter) than anyone else. This partially explains why he wears a largely grey costume instead of the traditional red/green/yellow Robin outfit. Inside the plastic tray, there is a plastic tie around the torso. The cape fits through a slot in the plastic tray so that the action figure isn't pressed against it. The sword is held in place by a piece of tape. You also get a base stand and an information card. This Robin stands about 6.3-inches tall. I've been reading Robin's solo comic series, and I like this costume design. However, I am really disappointed with this action figure. The shoulder pads and cape are soft, but they're also thick. They prevent you from doing much with the arms. The torso is bendy, but the one-piece tunic basically pushes everything back into a neutral position as soon as you let go of the figure. The Toddfather giveth and taketh away. (Sigh) The head and torso can rotate 360 degrees. The thighs have the same type of half-socketed design as the previous Robin figure. So, they fall off the figure if you get too aggressive with rotating them. QC is shoddy. The upper arm swivels feel like they can fall off easily. Also, good thing I ordered two, because the first one that I opened had a defective right knee. The sword is much better looking than the promethium sword that was included with the first figure, though it's made from a rather soft material. Despite the use of double jointed elbows and knees, this Robin is actually less fun than the previous one. Get it only if you're a completist. Otherwise, the first Robin is actually better. Areas of concern: -- The shoulder pads and thick cape really hinder articulation and poseability. -- QC may be problematic.

And no, I didn't forget, but McFarlane Toys is also selling an Unmasked version on its own website. The combined price is $25 (yes, the second figure is only $5), but you have to pay for shipping. Both figures come with the same sword.
