I’m in, order placed. $160 with shipping is steep for an early morning impulse buy, but this looks dope.

Add me to the club, just ordered. Totally doesn't fit any collecting plans, but it's October, I love all things Halloween, and this is flat out amazing. Much as I love the Horseman himself, his steed is rather outstanding as well and put this over the top for me.

They are doing another drop at 8pm Eastern for those that did not get it. It will be the exact same things, just with being open to the entire world they decided to do 2 different drops like they did with original Krampus release last year.

I had it in the cart. I just couldn't pull the trigger. My car's alternator just took a big ol' poopy and took $700 of my toy money.

Passed..overpriced with an ill statured figure the comes with what looks like a rush sculpted pumpkin. This is 1/12 scale. And yet Mcfarlane just released a gunslinger on a horse for $49.99 1/10-7" scale. It would be different if this was a small 3rd party company. Just another company price gauging cuz they know you'll pay. And I do own some of thier figures. Thier prices are wildly over what they should run. They are no small company and have been around for a long time.

McFarlane stuff is ok, but I often feel a little like "really talented sculptor works without a reference picture and just molds a bunch of cool details". Like a lot of cool stuff going on, but sometimes the whole aesthetic of their pieces just looks a little busy to me. This on the other hand, this is pure eye candy. Beautiful aesthetic, can't wait to see it in hand.

McFarlane’s toys are ugly as hell. They have super cheap paint jobs and terrible face sculpts, and look like what they are - cheap mass produced toys for Walmart. I won’t disagree that Mythic Legions are expensive and may not be worth it or affordable for everyone, but McFarlane’s toys are not in the same league.

Speeding Bullets was always one of my favorite Elseworlds stories so I had to check out the figure you mentioned here...holy cow that's great looking.

The fig has great sculpt and proportions. It's one of the best articulated McFarlane figs too. Could easily stand unlike a lot of other McFarlane figs.

This was a badass thing and I didn't plan on spending that money but I had to get it. Cost out to $140 but what the hell. Though I might have just priced myself out of getting the Haslab Ghost Rider. Still though, the moment they began with this Figura Obscura line I knew they just had to make a Headless Horseman. What next though? I'm holding out for the Jersey Devil or the Goatman of Crybaby Bridge.

LOL ok bud have a snickers.

Can you apply that idea to the majority of figures released by Mcfarlane?
Let's look at the Bat Family five pack. Do you believe every one of those figures is at the same standard as the three figures you just named. Also at a similar standard to this company's offering?

I think Mcfarlane figures do some really good things for the price point. But I wouldn't say that's a standard. Including how their articulation nosedives when it comes to use and being aesthetically pleasing.

As to comparing this to the Gunslinger with the horse. Ignoring mass production of the parts. There is the paint applications, articulation, accessories, and overall material quality.

Or if someone wants. Is that a $60 Horse and a $60 Horseman?

What idea? That they are not "ugly as hell"? Sure, easily applicable. McFarlane figs are mostly OK. And just like many other companies, there are good and bad to their products. "Ugly as hell" is hyperbolic. Or the person saying it has extremely refined tastes. They'll spit on anything less than the level of a Cézanne or Rembrandt.

This one looks really nice. Only time I got introduced to the idea of "headless horsemen" is in Sleepy Hollow I think. Is this based on a movie or something of an original design?

The horse is the only thing worth money in this bundle. The figure is sculpted terribly. And Like all the 4 horseman figures looks like its permanently in the squating position as a the legs are too short. This is all Mythic legends. If you like this company good for you. Its too price guagy for the product you get. Plenty of up and coming companies making better product for less than they charge. Its just getting old that these companies continue to rip people off and everyone eats it up and asks for more.
