Street Date: Officially 2021-11-10 MSRP: $20 Price I Paid: $20 Scale: 7-inch (or 1/10) McFarlane's Three Jokers action figures were supposed to have been available before Thanksgiving, but distribution has been spotty due to COVID-19 pandemic-related delays. Batgirl, The Clown Joker, The Criminal Joker, and even Red Hood started appearing in Target brick-and-mortar stores right before Christmas. Amazon started shipping some of these as of last week, and Target.com is shipping some of these starting this week. ---------- I reviewed The Comedian Joker earlier today. Since I may finally be getting the Batman from this wave this week, I've decided to review another Joker this evening. In the miniseries/graphic novel The Three Jokers by Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok, The Clown is the Joker who killed Jason Todd (Red Hood). The Batfamily has had a very troubled history with the Joker(s), and The Three Jokers provides a sense of closure for both Jason and Barbara Gordon (Batgirl). In the plastic tray, there's one main plastic tie around The Clown's torso. In addition to an information card and a base stand, The Clown comes with two accessories, a Joker fish and a crowbar. The crowbar, the legs, and the feet are the same parts as the ones found with The Comedian. The fish has a ghastly, human-like face on it, which is very disturbing, lol. The figure's overall height is about 7.25-inches tall. I was expecting the hair to be hard plastic, but it's actually a rubber-like material similar to what's used for the long hair of female characters. The Clown has a lot more mobility than The Comedian. The suit jacket and the diaper are made of a very soft material, so you can really give this Joker a workout. The suit jacket is even removable, which allows you to rotate the head and the upper torso 360 degrees. Unfortunately, the arms are sculpted/designed in such a way that they are not able to be pressed flush against the body, even with the suit jacket removed. I was unable to fit any of the action figure guns that I have in the right hand, in large part because the "trigger" finger is very close to the middle finger. I was able to pop off the right hand, but the peg was designed so that hands aren't easily interchangeable. The left hand is basically an open palm, so it can't really hold anything either. In the box, this was my least favorite of the Three Jokers because of the garish color combinations. However, out of the box, this Joker is a lot of fun to pose. Areas of concern: -- There's a loose strand of hair just above the left temple, so be careful when twisting and turning the head.
