Now you know why McF makes so many Batmans.

I can’t look at that and not play the end theme in my head.

Awesome to Todd!

Marvel Legends had Black Widow figures that came out waaaaaay before the movie... then pegwarming Shang-chi... then pegwarming Eternals. All the X-men waves were lesser known X-stuff like AoA and HoX/PoX. Probably only Spidey stuff consistently sold well for Marvel Legends at retail last year.

Yes, Hasbro made bad choices. That's on them.

I wonder how this is being gauged. Is Todd talking legitimate overall sales numbers over all the other lines and brands...or is he pulling a Tony Khan (who is constantly reminding us that AEW is beating WWE...which if you look at the actual numbers overall...it's not) and is actually referring to sales in a "key demo of the market" sorts?

This is not Todd's doing, this is a market report from a company that tracks all retail sales.

That awards list is super interesting... I thought Funko Pops were dying down, but they are still super popular in Europe it looks like.

Action Figures & Accessories Funko Pop! Funko"

Since when the hell are Funko Pops action figures? lol. Get the fck out of town with that. I bloody hate walking into a store, asking for action figures of a certain character and being directed down an aisle of a thousand funko pops and their beady little dead-looking eyes. Then I grab a ton of the funkos to pelt the sales assistant to death with, like the stoning scene from Life of Brian and march out of the store. Well, in my mind I do the pelting. I definitely do some real marching I'll have you know. A right proper stomp out through the doors.

McFarlane's are the ones that most appeared in discount and clearance stores around these parts though. I got a few but even then none of them are among my favourites I got in the past year or two lol. Most of my money was split between Hasbro (Transformers and Marvel Legends) and Mattel (Masterverse and MOTU Origins)
