I GENUINELY do like McFarlane figures, but their moves to sell the same figure twice (mask/maskless) is about the least consumer friendly behavior I could imagine. Make the figure $22.99 (hell, even $24.99) and just start including alternate heads.

There anyway, he doesn't have holsters either. So it's more than a choice in advertising.

That being said, he's been out twice with guns, and Thomas Wayne has been out twice with guns. As has Joker and Grim Knight. Have to wait and see if this is part of the DC no-guns thing or a choice based on the books.

Quick google search shows even when using blades, has the guns holstered.

Someone tell McFarlane it’s 2021 and it’s okay to put the alternate headsculpt in with the first release of the figure.

I think this is the version where he was fighting ras or someone and didnt have his cannons on him. I want three......one to open, one to get the head nd put it on the regular red hood and one to put on my wall as todd red hood is my favorite iteration of the character.

I actually mostly like McFarlane's DC Multiverse line (although I still wonder when he'll finally give us some classic comic characters such as Aquaman, Mera, Poison Ivy...) and buy most of them, but I'm really getting tired of this ridiculous, greedy behavior. As somebody dully noted, it's 2021 and every toy company worth that name simply includes the alternate head in the regular packaging.
