It’s been suggested McFarlane Toys could make Year One & The Long Halloween versions of Catwoman from the same mold in different colors. Rather than repaints, I’d like separate sculpts since they’re drawn with distinct body types. Tim Sale’s Catwoman may be compact but she’s solid muscle. Sale’s & Jim Balent’s Catwoman shouldn’t be the same figure with different heads for the same reason.

If Todd can make umpteen Batmen, he can give Catwoman the same treatment.

I've said it before but I'm genuinely surprised that the new movie Catwoman is the first version of her we're getting in the line and so far there's been no indication that any comic figure is on the horizon. Hell we could've gotten a game version by now at least since they've been doing Injustice 2 and the Arkham series.

At the rate things are going, Zoe Kravitz may be the only Catwoman we ever get in the 7-inch line. At this point, whether or not we get a Catwoman in the Batman 66 line may also be in doubt. I don't understand the business decision behind making the Batman 66 line a Target Exclusive. Target doesn't have as many stores as Walmart, and if people are buying online, they're more likely to choose Amazon over any other e-tailer.

I'd be up for a Long Halloween and Arkham City Catwoman.

I really like this BTAS inspired design Sean Murphy made for Catwoman.

Possible third Lex Luthor (different head and cape):

Anyone have suggestions for either a blonde female head or an entirely enclosed helmet so that I can pretend the blue suit is Supergirl inside?

You might try Jazzwares Halo figures for helmeted heads. But you'll have to paint it to match.

For a blonde head, you might try the Neca Starlight from The Boys. Although, she does have a white headband in her hair.

You might also look into using an MCU unmasked Captain Marvel head. The Mezco One 12 and Marvel Select versions might work.

I just looked at Starlight and Captain Marvel per your suggestions. Starlight looks good, but the long hair may not fit over the blue armor.

Captain Marvel (both versions) -- the paint apps for the eyes = OOF!

I watched a little bit of a review for Starlight and her hair is soft plastic. There is also a split in her hair on the right side to help with head movement. It's POSSIBLE that you might be able to selectively cut off some locks of her hair in order to make it fit. You would just need to cut from the inside of the hair to hide the cuts (hopefully). It's blonde hair so it will be harder to hide cuts and match the paint color.

If that's more trouble than it's worth, then you might try the DC Collectibles New 52 Supergirl or Powergirl. They're both older figures so they'll be harder to find and possibly more expensive. But I've seen some of your posts where you mention finding older DCC figures at stores for cheap. Maybe you'll get lucky and find one of them.

I see many of those for MSRP at a local comics shop, but they're not really "cheap" if I just want the heads, lol. I could never justify DCC's action figure prices to myself since the plastic was so flimsy. It felt like I was going to break a peg every time I tried to use swap out parts.

I will try looking for the New 52 Supergirl, though, that one might work. Melissa Benoist didn't cut her hair short ala Power Girl during the show's run.

Thanks!

The hair would prevent the head from fitting on the armor.

Waitaminute, waitaminute.

Aren't we talking about putting a blonde head on a McFarlane Lex Luthor's figure's body? Wouldn't everything suggested so far except for Starlight be too small? As McFarlane's are 7" scale?

Probably, which is why I haven't seriously tried it even though Blue Armor Lex has been available since December. I've looked at several Halo figures, but they would all require re-painting.

Something I just thought of: Is the Lex Luthor in Superman armor gender neutral enough for you to turn it in to Supergirl in an anti-kryptonite suit?

Will the head swap give you a woman in bulky armor or will it give you a woman's head on a man's body?

If you have the figures, try swapping the Last Night on Earth Wonder Woman's head onto the purple and green Lex Luthor body to see the result.

I think armor makes body types fairly gender neutral, as long as a female character isn't supposed to have particularly large breasts. I really like that Karen Palinko New 52 Batgirl that you posted earlier, but the breasts are ginormous for Barbara Gordon.

I put Batgirl and Nightwing's heads on the White Knight Joker body. Works for me.

Someone was selling the katanas from the 1999 Mandarin Spawn on eBay. I bought them to give to Damian Wayne because the promethium sword just looks so goofy. The sword handles' color even matches Damian's gloves and boots!

Brachiosaurus!?!? Seriously is that what the writers thought of Superman? A big slow leaf-eater? Ha.
