Is it my favorite Batman design? No. Is it my favorite Batman figure? No, but it's moved pretty high up my list of favorite Batman figures. He also looks pretty great next to the AotC Batgirl.

It's not that I hate the design, I just hate the proportions. Little ankles with big feet, a giant barrel chest and skinny legs, and whatever the hell is up with his face sculpt.... Half the time I think whoever does the 3D sculpting for McFarlane eff's it up in translation to plastic, and that's why we get such wonky looking figures!

So apparently the Shriek figure without the BAF piece will actually be the unmasked version

https://www.mephitsu.co.uk/post/mcfa...hriek-unmasked

I wish Todd would just include the unmasked head with the figures rather than forcing you to buy a whole extra figure!

Finally got around to adding some battle damage to Deathstroke. I used a black wash to fill in some of the details for the damaged spots. I also added silver to damaged areas that looked like cuts, slash marks, and bullet holes.

This was the first time painting battle damage. Overall, I think it turned out alright. I was going to add some silver to simulated paint wear on some of armor edges but decided against it. At this scale, I think less is more. And I can always add it later if i want. Overall, I'm happy with how this figure turned out. I was able to turn this:

In to this:

It looks like the Target exclusive Batman Beyond is beginning to hit stores. However, most Targets still don't have it yet.

By changing my location on the Target listing, I was able to see that some stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas had received the figure today. None of them allowed Order Pickup but they did say that the figure was in stock.

New Multiverse reveals for Injustice 2 Dr. Fate, Injustice 2 White Flash, and Gold Label Unmasked Red Hood. Unfortunately, I can't find any pics outside of TNI.

TNI found some new Multiverse listings on the site for Singapore e-tailer Toys Alley. The new figures are:

DC Gaming Red Hood
DC Gaming Nightwing
Gold Label Superman Energized Unchained Armor
Superman Rebirth
Hazmat Suit Batman
Azrael Armor Batman

We've heard about the new Unchained Armor Superman before. Since it's Gold Label, it'll be a Walmart exclusive.

The Gaming Red Hood and Nightwing figures are probably based on their looks from the Injustice games. There's maybe a 0.01% chance that they'll be based on the upcoming Gotham Knights video game but with Flash, Grodd, and Dr. Fate, I'd put my money on Injustice.

Googling Hazmat Suit Batman brought me to these two images. I believe the first image is from the Amazo Virus story. Not sure about the second image.

Azrael Armor Batman is a bit harder to pin down. It could be one of Azrael's bat suits from the Knightfall storyline. However, there was a Tales from the Dark Multiverse story that featured this suit. Given all of the Dark Nights Metal and Death Metal figures we've gotten, I would say this one is most likely. In the story, Bruce never defeats Azrael at the end of the Knightfall story. Azrael then goes on to torture and dismember Bruce.

The Superman Rebirth figure is the one I'm most excited for. I've been wanting a regular Superman on the Infected Superman body and this figure just might be it. The recent Bizarro figure (which shares most of its parts with Infected Superman) gives us the belt for this particular suit. A regular head and cape are all that's really needed to make this figure. Hopefully, this doesn't turn out to be another retool of the Action Comics #1000 Superman figure.

Red Hood and Nightwing could be from Arkham Knight.

And that second hazmat suit is from and issue of (I think) Detective Comics back in the New 52. He was dealing with rampaging Clayface.

TNI found some more listings for Multiverse.

Batman Year Two Gold Label NYCC
White Knight Batman vs Azbat 2 pack
Batman Who Laughs with Robins of Earth -22

The BWL with Robins pack might be nice for those who wanted the three Robin variants but couldn't find all of them (assuming all three will be in the pack). I would imagine that the White Knight 2 pack will be similar to the Arkham Asylum and the Superman/Devastator 2 packs where there is a minor deco change (maybe a new head) but the figures are otherwise unchanged.

The Batman Year Two figure is the most interesting. Over the past year and half, I've seen people asking for this figure so they could get a Bronze Age Batman based on Todd's artwork. Since the figure is listed as Gold Label NYCC, it looks like we'll get multiple versions of the Year Two Batman. Hopefully, we'll get at least one plain-jane Year Two Batman that doesn't have battle damage or a holster glued to his chest. I'll happily buy multiple versions of the figure with all that stuff but I want at least one "clean" version.

I also wonder if McFarlane will try to give him a cape like the one on the Kickstarter Spawn figure.

I hadn't considered the Arkham Knight versions of those two. McFarlane seems to be on an Injustice kick lately with the multiple versions of Injustice Grodd and Flash and the recently revealed Dr. Fate. Guess we'll see.

Hopefully we will see them complete the injustice 2 roster as most Mcfarlane figures look great. Disapppointed with the decision to do variants of the same figure, guess because they are easy to make.

I saw the full faceplate Cyborg from the Justice League movie at Walmart today. I didn't see any other JL figures at any of the other stores I went to. I considered buying him but decided against it since I was only interested in the regular version of Cyborg.

Can someone explain EE having a maskless Snyder Batman, and the regular release having the cowl only? I’m contemplating dumping my entire McFarlane collection (outside of a select few) because of shit like this. I’m probably late to the party on the outrage, but come TF on Todd. That’s just dirty business.

I overpaid for the cursed Platinum variant. I hate chase figures, but I hate the fact that I MUST buy them more.

Man I wish Wal-Mart had these. I found Arkham Knight Batman once and since then nothing. And Target only has the red version of White Knight Batman and Death Metal Batman.

Word on the inter-webs today is that the street date for the Red and Blue Superman is either July 15th or 17th.
