Did some repainting on Lobo and Super Lex

Lobo
Nice figure with one questionable choice and that's the paint.

Okay I get the blue in the hair in the comics but it serves no purpose in reality. The blue is too bright that it doesn't function as shading.

But the real sin is the face. So Lobo is a white alien. Of course in the comics he's colored with grays for shading or to make the skin less bright.

Why doesn't the color of the face match the skin on the arms and neck?
Either make the arms and chest white or make the face grey. I think they could have gotten away with making the face grey in my opinion.

I just don't understand why they did this.
------------------------------------

Lex

Great sculpt and a great use of reuse. I think the difference in color and the different torsos all work.

Side eye, I don't know what happened but the designers fell in love with side eye and it's not good.

Superman Lex - technically a Darkseid Lex but I'm using it as Superman Lex. I get it but I would have preferred him with a cape and a normal Lex head.
Also they underpainted this guy. It's like the speed pursuit injustice flash. The Lexosuits dark parts should have been the dark parts for Superman suit as well.

----------

Also Mcfarlane needs to address the non existent articulation on the lower torso. It's not just this figure but all these latest batches of figures are starting to lose articulation even going backward. They can make new changes under the hood, I think it's time to catch up to Hasbro.

Another Target in my area had Batgirl, Red Hood, and two of the Jokers.

This Super Lex is great. That two tone / breaking of the blue really makes it work. I hope they produce something like that at some point.

There will be another White Knight series written/drawn by Sean Murphy, so maybe there'll be more White Knight figures?

On the cover, you can see Batman Beyond, Red Hood, Unmasked Barbara Gordon, Harley Quinn, and Derek Powers. There's also a Robin swinging in the background (between Red Hood and Barbara Gordon).

Well I guess that's one way of getting some new Beyond comics. Guess I'll need to read the first two.

We know those are coming. BB looks pretty standard too so I can see repaint with some red marks on the torso.

Well there are still figures(Nightwings/Robin/Batgirl/Harleys/numerous villains) from the first story they can do. But I can also see them modifying WK Batman and BB to fit any changes in the upcoming comic.

Also how is it that Batman Beyond has only appeared in the Timmverse?
We've seen Harley all over place but the world of Batman Beyond hasn't broken beyond the one TV show(and some select spin offs) and numerous DC comics.

You'd think there would have been a reboot/continuation/live action appearance to get around not having Bruce Batman at this point.

At least the mainline comics were good. When they introduced him into the main universe with Futures End I was a little iffy considering how much was changed from the cartoon but they ended up being solid.

I think there was a rumor of a CW show a little while back (or at the very least some concept art) but I guess it was too expensive or something. I'm REALLY hoping Keaton coming back as Batman in the Flash movie leads to him being old Bruce in a Beyond movie.

What era or story is the new Martian Manhunter figure based on? New 52? Rebirth? Infinite Frontier? Is it an amalgamation of current era looks? He’s not a character that I follow closely but this new figure does look good.

I'm behind on the times (haven't read much since Rebirth stared) but if I had to guess he looks kinda like his solo series from around the New 52 era.

Not a new idea, but if you want to give Joker a "tommy" drum gun, the McFarlane Fortnite Raptor figure has one that fits.

Not sure why now, but Target stores have been re-stocking Suicide Squad Harley Quinn.

Most stores still have a bunch of Unmasked Peacemakers, but they also started to carry the regular Masked version in their replenishments.

I think all these stores finally got the product they were supposed to get months ago.

My local Targets got a ton of ZSJL figures when they barely had any with the initial release.

Really? Wow!

I actually saw the red/blue suit Henry Cavill a while back. Ben Affleck Batman has been rare, but I occasionally see one of him at Target or Walmart.

I found The Criminal at Target today. I was able to use Popfindr to see which stores had stock. Unfortunately, all of my nearby Targets didn’t show any stock for 3J Batman. He’s the only one I’m missing.

No one on eBay has the 3J Batman up either, I'm assuming he ships separately in his own case. The only figure from the wave at my Target was several Batgirls

So what is up with all of these helmetless/unmasked figures McFarlane is doing? Between Target and Walmart today I saw a helmetless Shriek and Peacemaker. Why do they not come with their helmets? And apparently there is a Batman like that too.

Easy way to squeeze a bit more mileage out of the body molds, though I think the unmasked variants should not have BAF pieces (big mistake with the unmasked Peacemaker and Bloodsport).

By the way, this is old news.

So is their other head just inside the box?

No, the only one with two heads is White Knight Joker.

Yeah, I think all of the 3J figures ship separately. Every time I've found any of the 3J figures at Target, it's always been multiples of the same figure.

It's weird that 3J Batman and Y2 Batman share the same body mold and they're both MIA. I'm sure it's just a coincidence but still, it feels weird.

The masked head isn't included but several of the unmasked variants have different accessories/weapons.

A couple of people on The Fwoosh forums have posted that they have received shipping notices for the Year 2 Batman from Target. Hopefully Target will put the listing back up on the site so we can find them in store.
