Awesome. Hope he won't be too hard to get ahold of. Thought about ordering one off of Target's website but the last time I did that it didn't end so well.

I picked up the JL Flash on Friday and customized him to fill in some of the missing details. I did the following:

1. Added dark paint that was missing from the hands, wrist, shoulders, neck and mask. I had to mix colors to get a match.
2. I added some silver to simulate the nicks/paint rub that was on the armored pieces of his costume. It turned out ok. Less would've been more now that I can see the final result.
3. I covered those armored pieces in a gloss clear coat so that they would look like a stiffer, protective material when compared to the rest of the figure. The red plastic isn't flat/matte so the clear coat doesn't stand out that much.
4. I painted all of the wires on the costume.

For reference, here are the promo shots from McFarlane which are pretty accurate to the final product.

The red and blue JL Superman has been found in Northern California. The DPCI is 087-16-6093. Brickseek does work for finding Superman. I tried a few zip codes in Northern California and found a few stores with limited stock. So far, the website still says sold out.

I’m not posting this in the news thread since this is unconfirmed but it looks like the standard release of Batman Beyond has a battle damaged variant. A reddit user out in California found it at a local Target store. The figure appears to have anew head with its teeth showing.

Anyone have any recommendations for a decent 7" scaled figure pistol that could work for Peacemaker?

The weapons that come with the Marvel Select Deadpool work pretty well with Peacemaker. But if you want the Desert Eagle Mark XIX that PM uses in the movie or something similar, I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe the pistol that comes with the Neca Tech Noir Terminator?

Guess the Mortal Kombat line is getting a Joker, there's a pic over on ToyNewsi, dunno why it's so hard for Todd to sculpt a good Joker face?

They're pricey, but if you're willing to bite, some dude is selling custom accessories for the Suicide Squad figures, and they look great.

TNI posted another list of upcoming figures. Their source is "various online etailers".

Aquaman Endless Winter

Martian Manhunter (New 52)

General Zod (Comic) - The exact version was never stated but Rebirth seems to be the most likely choice since McFarlane tends to skew contemporary rather than classic.

Dark Detective (Future State)

The Next Batman (Future State)

Clayface (Megafig)

Superman Solar Suit (Lois and Clark Comic)

Damian Wayne Black Suit Variant Robin

TDKR Batman vs Superman 2 Pack

Batman Rebirth 1.0 - This one isn't very clear since Capullo had Batman in his "Rebirth" suit before Rebirth happened. It's the same suit that we got from the Merciless wave and Target exclusive Dark Nights Metal Batman figures. My guess is that they're going for Jim Lee/Jason Fabok variation which gives Batman a blue cape and cowl.

Arkham Titan Joker Megafig

Someone on Twitter posted these comparison shots of the Batman Beyond variant and a screen grab from the show where the suit has battle damage.

Does anyone have the Superman Devastator two pack? On the base, is there a hole or a foot peg piece in it on Superman's side of the base? Most reviews show a hole on the base (and the reviewers are befuddled as to what it is for), but a couple show a foot peg piece in the hole. Looking on eBay at in-package samples, 90% seem to have the hole, but a couple have the foot peg piece in there. I'm curious how yours is? Was the piece loose in the box or maybe got pushed too deep in the hole? Was it just included in a particular run?

I just bought a set on sale on Amazon and wondering what to expect.

Mine just has a hole. I looked all over for a peg or something, but without luck.

Yeah, that seems to be the most common case. I wonder if it was a budget cut at some point and was only in an early run, or if it was left out as an error and added later (samples sent to reviewers didn't have it). We'll see what I get!

EDIT: so mine ended up coming with the rare foot peg piece. I don't even get why it is a separate piece to begin with. Maybe a flight stand was planned, then cut, then replaced with the foot peg?

Finally completed my Batman custom. I made it from the unmasked Flashpoint Batman.

I made a mistake before I started on this custom by assuming the masked version from Target was out of stock. If had checked their site, I would have saved myself a lot of trouble (and extra $) of having to buy and paint a 3D printed head from eBay. I had the head painted a week ago with new Vallejo paints that I picked up from Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately, the Vallejo paint began flaking off (the Testors I used for the skin remained solid though). After a few Google searches, I found out that 3D printed material doesn't hold paint very well unless you prime it. Also, the Vallejo paints need a primed surface that is contaminate free. After stripping the paint off with rubbing alcohol, I primed and painted it with only Testors paint. Everything seems to beholding up pretty well so far.
