I'm a bit taken aback by the fact that none of the characters have cards. Instead, we have a two-sided boarded poster.

Just saw Superman and I must say it blew me away. It did prompt me to go back and watch Man of Steel. After watching both movies recently, I can safely say I like both. I do like Superman quite a bit more than Man of Steel. Here's the DCEU Superman congratulating the DCU Superman on his movie.


As I just started watching Peacemaker, I got the new Peacemaker, and I must say this figure captured Cena's likeness better than the old one. DCU Peacemaker meets the DCEU Peacemaker, and it doesn't end well.





I will say the helmet head looks weird without any helmets on, but I guess that's the trade-off for having alternate helmets to swap.

Just got Blackhawk & Zatana, and I must say they have interesting heads. Like the CE/TE Peacemaker Blackhawk & Zatana have these Lego-style heads. Blackhawk, it makes sense to go between his hair & his hat. I thought about getting the Chase to have a Blackhawk with hair and one with the hat.



Zatana was a bit more puzzling because she doesn't have an alternate hair piece, and her hat is designed to sit on top of her hair. Then I thought about it, and I wondered if this was done to make it look like the hat is covering her face, as if she's coming out of the hat.








I had a little fun with the idea that Zatana pulled Detective Chimp from her hat.

Lastly, I can't help but notice that Detective Chimps card art is absent on the box, it's just Zatana almost like Todd & Co. knew Zatana would be the main attraction.

I know it's still January, but I'm already calling Detective Chimp as my figure of the year.

They forgot to glue Zatanna's hair on, just in case you wanted to recreate the scene from Inhumans were Medusa gets shaved.

McFarlane Toys once again reused Knightfall Catwoman's opera glove arms that're too thin for jacket sleeves yet not her legs that feature sculpted thigh boots so Zatanna's are just painted on.

Detective Chimp can hold Professor Pyg's tools!
