It's a whole new figure now. Not just the sculpt, but the engineering on the joints is entirely different.
Can't say I like it either way: tiny hands and feet, a giant midsection... Still, this is a very curious case. Are we sure the SDCC one was supposed to be same figure?

Right? This is not the same figure at all! I’ll still be sticking with Neca’s stuff, but still, huge improvement form the first one shown.

I love the light up eyes function but I find it off-putting that the body is smooth and cartoonish, yet the hands and feet are textured and realistic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
