Action figures are getting way too expensive! $23 for that?

I'm used to looking at the pretty pictures of the Figuarts figures. This guy just looks really weird to me for some reason.

So, like, these are Marvel Legends quality/price point Dragon Ball figures? Interesting. I wonder how they scale with the SH Figuarts ones.

Quite a bit bigger. Theyre the same size as the Bandai Power Ranger figures in the same type of packaging with a BAF that isnt in scale either.

$20 is ok, but would think we could get more heads/energy blasts or somethin at that price but Mattel DC is about as bad. At least these have wrist pegs/hinges...

Nice to see these making their way to retail Hopefully it won't be much longer till Walmart, Target, and TRU start to get them in. Should be a couple bucks cheaper from them.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. So much for my idea of getting buys that fill in blanks on the Figuarts line.

For the cost of buying all of these guys to make Shenron, I could just buy the Figuarts Shenron and have better quality.

Agreed 100%. I considered this line because of Shenron, but now that there is going to be a figuarts, there's no debate.

Is there actual release info for the figuarts Shenron? or are they still just putting it into any display at conventions they can?

Yes, $99-ish depending on Yen rate in Dec (if memory serves) and it's poseable while this one appears to be a fixed pose kinda thing.
