I've not seen either version of the character before, but I like the way this looks and assume based on your other, stellar stuff, that this is really accurate.

Is he in the new Freedom Fighters stuff that is out? I've been wanting to pick it up, but really only want to if Ray Terril is a bigger part of it than he has been in the last few years.

Thanks and yes he just appeared in the current issue of the new run which has Ray Terril on the team. And its only on issue 3 so good point to pick up if you want to start.
