Looking at your pics got me surfing for Super Powers, Dungeons and Dragons, Joes, and vintage Star Wars stuff, just so I could get an idea of how much it would cost me to pick some of that stuff up. I've been focused so much on MU lately that my Joes are feeling a little neglected. Needless to say it is pretty pricey out there for most vintage stuff in good condition.

I'm pretty set on MU until the new waves come out. I occasionally browse for a Yellow & Blue Goliath pack or a Dark Galactus, but I've never found them at a price I was willing to jump on.

I'm Darryl by the way. Man, good luck at the show. One of these days I hope to make it out to Cali for SDCC or a good toy show. Some day.

I like those black cases/shelfs you have your joes in. Where did you get them?

Do you have local hookups that help you track stuff down for your collection? There is virtually nothing in the vintage toy world in Utah, so I'm mostly restricted to what I can find in stores or buy online (oh the gauging...).

LOL! The fact that you didn't even start until 96 makes your collection that much more amazing. You've got stuff that I had and lost in the 80's!

Yeah, my wife puts up with my collection to a certain degree and my kids love it, although they are still too young to fully appreciate it.

Holy crap! I thought I had a great Joe collection, but you are putting me to shame! 4 Crossfire R/Cs? F'ing Action Force? Cobra Missile Command? My mind has been thoroughly blown.

It will probably take me a few days before I can get pics up. I've got a lot of unpacking, re-assembling, and setting up to do first. And even then, I will probably have to do it in stages. With the lack of space I've had, I haven't even opened any of my Joes from about 2002 on.

Questions for you. How long have you been collecting? What got you into it?

Dude, you aren't bugging me at all. I'm way excited too. I don't really know of anyone in my area with the same interest in toys that I have, so online is where I get all my toy camaraderie.

Thanks to you I started busting out some of my stuff last night. Hopefully in a few days I'll have some things set up for pictures.
