These images and melodies pretty much encapsulate the inner workings of my mind from age seven until now...I'd be ok with these visuals and the accompanying theme playing as they lay me to rest. Lol Japan had a pretty prolific jazz/funk scene in the seventies. Not to traffic in stereotypes, but I was introduced to this fact as a 8 year old watching Godzilla movies. Consistent with movies around the world, Japanese cinema took their soundtracks seriously. Here's a memorable one:
