She did not kill the snake though, there's no way she can fight and hack the giant snake to pieces of death without a single splash of blood on her face or body. The blood splatter evidence on her gloves and boots indicate that she's there after the fact. The statue captures the moment when Red Sonja was chopping up the snake to make stew after Conan killed the snake.
