I don't have any strong feelings towards Marvel Hercules--but that smiling face is too entertaining to pass up and should make for some great poses.

Same here. Great looking figure to be sure. The new buck is very well done. Pinless makes it especially nice.

Would've been great it if it was done on the arms as well.

Wish they had included a neutral closed moth head so i can replace that douchey, hipster man-bun head on the armored thanos wave one.

The card art depicts him as wearing shorts.

The figure depicts him as wearing a very tiny speedo.

In his case, I prefer him to be more conservative. Haha.

I can’t figure out why more companies don’t do “retro” card backs. Neca does great with aliens and predator and the toybiz Batman and “dark knight collection” gold Batman was awesome. You would think mcfarlane would do more of that with his DC offerings.

Anyway, I’m a freaking sucker for these card backs, so I’m in.

I am a huge 616 Hercules fan, and the smiling portrait will always be classic Herc. However, this is not my favorite look for him (tall sandals and sash forever).

Not the best, but probably close to accurate to match the original depiction of the mythological Herc (who sometimes wouldn't even be wearing the speedo).

Not really. He would have worn a toga or had a looped sheet tied around his waist. Plus he wore the indestructible Nemean lion’s carcass as a hood/cloak (he used the beast’s own tooth to skin it).

Mythological Heracules looked nothing like a San Francisco S&M festival attendee.

But he would have been naked under that cloak. Historically for Ancient Greeks with a lot of muscle clothing would have been extremely light to nonexistent.
