Nope, he's talking about the fact Mezco have the rights to Keaton/Burton's Batman & will be producing that later on in 2015.

Thanks for clarifying. Keaton seems to enjoy a loyal fan base.

Yeah, you're right. Who am I kidding? It's the Dark Knight Returns! I'm going to pre-order as well.

I've never shopped through BBTS before: this is my baptism. LOL

Can't wait to see what other DC stuff they do. I was hoping that this line would be around $45-$50 per figure, but I'll still be tempted to buy a couple depending on the characters they make.

TDKR Batman looks good and all, but I'm not a big enough fan of Miller's stuff to buy it.

Indeed. Will be interesting to see if Mezco go for a really realistic approach or more stylized.

I contacted Mezco previously to inquire about the release schedule for different versions, but never received a response. I suspect that the one to be released this Black Friday will be the version holding the grapple in your photos of the display at NYCC. I still prefer the dark blue one with the rifle, but might splurge again if they offer a new face sculpt. Rgds

Nothing from Mezco, but the NECA video-game-style unit just arrived at Entertainment Earth. And the 1/4 scale is still available at BBTS.

Not yet. I expect a few more to be revealed at Toy Fair in February.

I should have called it. I was guessing the BF exclusive would be one of the three versions we had already seen.

I don't think I'll be getting any of this Batman, but I'm looking forward to the Keaton figure. That said, depending on when he comes out, I might get Judge Dredd.

I finally figured it out. You know what this Batman looks like? A Scandinavian Kitchen Witch! I love it! I'm going to perch him on top of my cupboards with his little rifle, or hang him from the ceiling if I can find a little broom for him to sit on. Can you imagine more clever geek home décor than a Batman kitchen witch?

I want it too. This version seems intended for completists. The first version was ~$65, the second was ~$70, so this one with all the gear and attachments combined will probably inch toward retail $80-85.

The figure is up now for pre-order.

I also noticed Doomsday Unleashed is available over at Matty Collector. I must have missed that bit of news. There are also some pretty big discounts on some figures at Matty.
