Am I the only one underwhelmed by Mezco’s reveals at Mez-Con?

Not at all. Leatherface was inevitable at this point really so not all that shocking. Doctor Fate is a nice reveal I suppose but not really up my alley so I am not too excited personally. I'm just waiting for that Black Skull Death Brigade figure to drop randomly one of these days.

very excited about that Dr.Fate. kind of sucks that it takes $$$ just to get a decent 6in DC line together- but at least the figure are amazing. Batman, Constantine, Fate... are we going to see Deadman or Zatana next?

Leatherface is going to be a 3 pack of different versions, very interesting. Not sure at this point if it'll be an exclusive but it goes up tomorrow.

Payment for Doc Nocturnal is finally processing. It wiped me out financially but it's a pleasant surprise especially since my birthday is on Thursday. Ironic that the most recent One:12 figure I've ordered will be the first I'll physically own. I need to gather the $160 fast for that Popeye and Bluto set though because who knows when BBTS will get that in with Mezco already sending them out. I figure I have at least a couple of weeks.

Doc Nocturnal arrives Thursday and I'm so excited. I don't think I've been this excited for a figure since I got my Mythic Legions Cyclops Troll 2 years ago.

Apparently the comic that Doc comes with has an ad page similar to Baron Bends which shows a weapon pack that they plan to sell along with GITD skulls and a Bruce Lee esque Gomez

And an illustration of an awesome weird robot thing called Hawk P-40 with the words "coming soon" over the picture.

The doctor is in! I got my Doc Nocturnal today and I’m super happy with him as well as the swag. I like the shirt. The comic and cards are cool. And Doc is amazing! There’s a lot of love that’s been put into him. You can see it in the level of detail in the figure and the accessories. With all those accessories the possibilities are endless. There’s so much you can do with him. One of my favorite Mezco’s to date.

Wow! What a day! Supreme Knight Batman the Shadow addition arrived today and this is my favorite action figure of the year! It’s much more than a blacked out Supreme Knight. There’s a lot of differences and he comes loaded with a bunch of great accessories including FIVE heads! There’s nothing I don’t like about him. First Doc Nocturnal and now Supreme Knight! What an amazing day. What an amazing pair of figures!

An upgrade kit for Doc Noc as well and the bundle of weapons went up too. Sadly as awesome as the Bruce Lee Gomez is I have to pass. The PS5 has drained all my spending funds for the immediate future

Hopefully the initial drop is just for first come first serve and they plan to roll out a pre-order with a later delivery date.

Ghost Rider & Hell Cycle set goes up 11/23 and the price tag is $240. Only one promo shot up at the moment but it doesn't have the exclusive stamp so it should be a standard release. Hopefully he comes with some badass accessories because idk if the Hell Cycle alone is worth the $150 or so mark up. But maybe it is.

That's a good chunk of change for a 1/12 scale figure set for the Ghost Rider. Can't say i'm a fan either of the more modern styled "hell cycle".

Exactly. $240 for nobody’s version of Ghost Rider. Hard pass. I’ll hold out for the $40 ML Danny Ketch.

As much as a I wouldn't mind a modern looking Hellcycle I just can't support the price tag for a pretty generic GR. I think my ML with movie bike looks way better-

My PX Supreme Knight arrived from Dorkside today. I haven't had the chance to take him out yet but I did open the box to get a look at him. Mezco changed the deco on him. The light blue/teal of the cape and cowl are now a darker metallic blue and the grey body suit is now lighter. The change looks more drastic in the quick photo I took than it does in person.

Finally had a chance to open my PX Batman tonight and take some comparison shots of the PX Sovereign Knight and the regular Supreme Knight.

I adjusted the exposure setting for this first one so that the suit colors would be as close as possible to the actual figure. In some of the other shots, the body suit looks lighter than it actually is.

D Amazing posted a review of a second MDX Supreme Knight Batman. No word on availability just yet. A few people in the comments suggested that it would go up for preorder today since today's date since it's "one twelve" (January 12, 01/12).

The figure looks pretty cool but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle of getting another exclusive.

I was able to preorder this guy after the usual 10 minutes of frustration. I’m glad I was able to pick him up. He’s on waitlist already.

There was an AsiaGoal exclusive that dropped yesterday at 11pm EST that adds to the Rumble Society characters. Looks to be a fairly lazy kitbash of Cable with some okay accessories added in, I personally like the poncho and the blade with the effect piece that can attach to it. It sold out in about a minute or 2 and was $130 plus the $50 or so shipping from HK so $180 to get it in your hands retail, which I think is quite overpriced anyway. Happy for those who got it and were willing to pay those crazy prices for it. It appears to be anywhere from $400-$2,000 on eBay now. Mezco is starting to feel like they want to be the Supreme of toy companies which is ironic since their little catchphrase they use in marketing their Bag of Skulls is "Why buy that shit from scalpers?" while simultaneously dropping limited exclusive after limited exclusive and feeding the scalpers more. There was also the White Skull Agent that shock dropped with no announcement and was limited to 500 about a week or 2 ago.

There is a sticker sheet with "Krig" that insinuates there will be other variants of the figure coming as well.

Yeah- Mezco is definitely the Bottom-Feeder of Toy Mfgs. I can't help but think that they're the ones selling these on ebay themselves. Make a lazy kitbash- limit availability- rake in scalper prices on ebay, rinse/repeat... Thankfully I'm more a casual fan and just get the figures that either hasbro really messed up on that Mez was able to top or their DC collection just because there aren't any other 6in options...

I think when they really want to try, they make some great figures and do a good job of getting them into people's hands. It just seems like there's a disconnect in how they market themselves vs what they actually do a lot of times. "By Collectors, For Collectors" but they're the worst at doing these silent releases that are extremely limited and leaves many people feeling FOMO and rushing to pay eBay prices. But then again they have other releases where they'll do second runs of it or even just have an open pre-order that lasts at least a day or two. It's extremely inconsistent and makes me wonder what they're thinking a lot of times.

I'm still waiting for my Batman to ship that I already paid for and still says "Shipping January 2021".

I'm kind of torn. I know I can definitely afford one Mezco figure within the first half of the year but anymore beyond that is a big ?. I would have hoped it would already be shown off but the intended figure was Hawk P-40. If he comes out around September/October problem mostly solved but if not there's now two other contenders. Before I owned any One:12 figures I really wanted Baron Bends but I couldn't justify that amount of money on a 6 inch figure, same as why I skipped the first Popeye. Now I regret it but I can't afford the aftermarket prices on him. Luckily there's this Tectonic Disruptor edition happening and with luck I might catch it. And I figure if I don't like it as much, someone may be willing to trade for the original. But then along comes these Krigs. I like the whole space armor thing going on especially that helmet and if I get one I would want the Murder Hornet version or the Black Spartan. It's probably not much to worry about and I'll be lucky to get any of these. But assuming I have the opportunity to get each one I'm not entirely sure what to go for.
