My guess is one for each head (smoking and non smoking) and 2 loose pipes (smoking and non).

I would like to add though after looking at those photoshopped pictures they show his fisted hands with drawstrings in them, from his bag, AND the ships wheel in that fist. Now the OTHER pictures show those fisted hands as being completely closed. That is a little shady to me. Just take pictures of the figure. Don't try to make it do something it can't.
That makes a lot of sense.

As for the fists, they keep pulling this same crap with cheaping out on hands that should be included at this price point, often giving you a lame and lacking selection. For instance, Wolverine has one fist and one tight grip that might pass for a fist if you’re not looking at it. Joker has 5 hands total and only the fists come paired. Red Skull has five also and no pairs. One is molded for an accessory he doesn’t even come with. Miles Morales has 3 pairs, but he doesn’t come with a set to grip his webline. They gotta get better about this.

Same. When first shown, this figure is what made me dive into the One:12 line. This looks like the pinnacle of what they are trying to achieve with this line.

I had been planning on picking up the regular one at some point at a discount if possible since they made a fuck ton of them, but I managed to pick this one up. The can packaging is pretty awesome. I like their tiny exclusive packaging will make the exception for that.

I would love to get behind this but I can't. I think it is ridiculous that the figure is smaller and the price keeps climbing. I know "Popeye is small" "the detail though" but the price should be smaller. I just cant pay $80 or $85 dollars for figures that keep getting smaller. I am happy for those that did get him because he looks fantastic. I still prefer the first release. The tin is an excellent touch.

I think Mezco will be ok without your money, Bearjew. They're swimming in all our other sweet non-refundable deposits for stuff that may or may not actually be released before the impending nuclear apocalypse. Rat bastards. They're probably sneering derisively at this thread right now, cackling like animals at all the lovehate.

get the feeling that some point in 2019 or early 2020 every Mezco figure is going to be $100 minimum.

He may be a little small but he also comes with tailoring, accessories, and a body that can't be used on a non-Popeye figure. Even the wrist joints are unique.

I think the DKR Batman was $65 at first. Then releases were $70-75. Then they do their first Marvel figure, and that HAS to be $80 because of Hasbro's licensing. They actually kept DC figures at $75 for a while but looking at their releases; January 2017 everything is now $80.

So we can thank Hasbro and their licensing for the $80 standard price on all of these and then $85+ for exclusives.
