Fair enough. Taking it to the other extreme, some artists and fans seem to prefer long prongs, which may fit some flamboyant stylized ideal but nevertheless seem wholly impractical and even ridiculous in the context of sneaking around and crawling in tight spaces without getting them caught on things or even bending and breaking them.

Generally, I prefer a compact, military approach, respecting aesthetics without compromising functionality and efficiency. A good recent example is the batsuit design for the 2016 Telltale Series. (Probably, you will NOT like it.)

It's a matter of taste, like the decision to tilt the ears forward or backward or let them point straight upward. (I favour straight up when viewed from the front, curving gradually forward when viewed from the side.)

Point of origin (above and behind the temples) is important, too: consider how different artists and designers position Captain America's wings.

Judging by the vast majority of figures produced to date, most fans do not share my taste. So be it; the market has spoken. Still, I have money to spend...

HS looks neat but other than that meh..

ps: Reading the description, really made me laugh out loud. "Bruce Wayne has enhanced his tech greatly from the beginning of his war on crime. The Bat-Suit has been augmented to provide more protection and greater mobility" . I can not see what they are trying to sell to me, because i just see armored gloves boots and kneecaps.

I know people will take me as a hater but let me explain myself. This figure is going to cost 80 dollars. 80 dollars is the price of Tactical Batfleck which has a tonne more sculpted parts and it's a complex combination of rubber & cloth parts. You give 10 dollars more and you take the IM which has magnetic helmet and light on feature. And as i said, there is no backround to hold onto, no movie, no comic, it's a concept/variant and tbh doesnt offer anything NEW to the legend in order to draw my attention. If it costed 30-40 bucks i would say "i stfu and give you my yeyo". The way i see it, it's a poor executed effort from a company to maximize it's profit (which is understandable).

I agree, 80 bucks is a little toó high. A fair price would be around 50 dollars. Somewhere around the price of figuarts should be pretty fair.

Really like the damaged headsculpt; I have the PX Ascending Knight coming; I think I'll be good with that, but this looks strong.

The damaged head sculpt is neat. I like the figure. I think it is great that Mezco is doing their own thing. I don't really care for Batfleck (worst batman) or actor likeness at all, so this is a buy
