Anyone out there UFC/MMA fans? Decent fight card coming up on Sept 17th.

Hell yeah man!!!!

Are you talking about the Shields vs Ellenberger fight card? I'm not too excited for this card. Looks like there's a number of Ultimate Fighter guys on there, huh?

I'm looking forward to UFC 135 on Sept. 24th. Jones vs Rampage. This fight is going to be great. I think Rampage is gonna have his hands full.

Yep thats the card. Im hoping Ellenberger wipes the floor with Shields. I dont care for him and always though he was a tab overrated. Ground game is excellent while his standup is elementary.
It should be ok even though there are a bunch of TUF'ers on there.
Im hoping Jones walks through Rampage (cant stand that guy at all) and gets to fight the spider.

I'm not huge into UFC. But there are 3 fighter I love to watch if I remember. Those 3 being GSP [got to support the Canadian, obviously], CRO COP and the one, the only, Fedor Emelianenko.

GSP is one of the best fighters in the world and sadly, MMA has passed Fedor and Cro Cop although they are both legends in the game.

WTF is with Nick Diaz?!?!?!?! I was really looking forward to the Diaz/GSP fight and he's been removed from the fight card now.

Anybody watch the Rampage/Bones fight? Bones is serious. Incredibly talented fighter. And Koscheck handled Hughes perfectly. Glad he was very humble afterwards. Koscheck can be a bit of a dick. All in all a good card.

Yea man, Jon Jones is the real deal. I used to be a fan of Rampage before he came to the UFC and ever since he's been more of a d*ck (terrible coach on TUF) and had that whole incident of getting arrested, ive started to dislike the guy so im glad he lost. Only interesting fight I see left is against Anderson Silva although Bones wrestling will probably be too much for the Spider. Yea it was good to hear Kos being humble as hes a big time prick.
It was a decent card at best to me. Too many boring (hate to say the word but they were) HW fights. The new season of TUF is pretty good so far.

Brock Lesnar was only a coach one season on the Ultimate Fighter. He's got a fight coming up against Alistair Overeem I think at the end of the year. He's coming off losing his belt and not as relevant as he once was but nevertheless still very popular because of his pro wrestling history. He had that stomach disease problem again so has been out for a while.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're right and Egdar walks away with the decision.

And I was thinking the same thing about Machida. He was coming off two losses when he won against Couture. Seems a little early for the title shot.

Good event. What an amazing fight for Edgar! Great to see a vulnerable champ who pulls through in the end with a perfect finish. Aldo/Florian was decent at best. Nam phan/Garcia was a great fight, good to see Nam get the win he deserved, he should be 2-0 against Garcia.
