Now if only NECA would do action figures of them.

That does look great, pretty pricey but most statues are. And I guess this is like 1/3 or 1/4 scale since it's over a foot tall? Pretty big.

As far as NECA I'll probably pick up the Toony Terrors figures. I kind of doubt they'll make fully articulated figures since this pose is basically all they do.

A statue that does not deserve to be on a pedestal, if I have it, I'd put it on the floor at the end of the hallway.

I asked Randy (2-3 years ago) about making THe Shining Ultimate figures and he said there was no interest.

Hopefully, we see another Lipton Brisk Tea Rocky figure soon.

If only Neca made the other Lipton claymation characters Rocky wouldn't standout as such an oddball release. I think it'd be a fun line to collect.

It's cool, but not $700 cool. I feel like it would need a lot more detail to command that kind of price, or be life sized haha.

I've asked him before, as have others, and the response has been that there are no likeness rights for the movie. Also, Jack Nicholson is not authorizing his likeness for merchandise right now, so they can't do a Jack Torrance figure.

Yeah without Jack the twins are practically the only thing in the movie to license. Nicholson's likeness is just crazy expensive from what I hear. He got half of all profit or revenue from Joker figures from the '89 Batman movie and has been expecting that deal ever since apparently.

Decent but I agree. Statue, scale, price, suprising lack of accessories (stand, diorama) considering whos making it. Jack would be huge but he's definitely got too much pride, reverence, clout, and of course I'm sure he's got the typical negative thoughts of being immortalized in action figure form. Pipe dream for the future for us fans.

Find it odd there is "no interest" yet we're getting this statue, the Toony Terror figures, and some Chinese company is making fully articulated 1/6 scale dolls of them. All in the next year.

I guess it's just too pricey for NECA to get the likeness rights for just the twins? I'd imagine they'd sell.

Are they also unable to get the rights to Doctor Sleep as well?

'No interest' is Randy's spin on Neca not being able to acquire a particular license.

And to add to this. People have asked about a Jack Torrance for the Toony Terrors as soon as the Twins were revealed. Randy said since that line still somewhat resembles the actors, they would still need to get likeness right for any regular people where needed, and Jack Nicholson isn't interested in merch right now.
