Nice. I do like the collar and the Goose repaint. I have the first one (and the second one no one likes), but I really like that this one will be able to stand and pose without assistance a heck of a lot better for display, too.

I'm glad they gave her the somewhat curvy body, I would have liked to see Firestar also get this body, but that seems to not be the case from the PulseCon reveal. I'll gladly pick this up for $23, I guess Revoltech/Amazing Yamaguchi is done or at least pausing on their Marvel releases lately, but it would be great to see them eventually take a crack at Black Cat--I think the character really lends herself to that style.

UGH, another figure Hasbro Pulse released without any head's up for Premium members! I hope they rethink this policy for the future, otherwise they may lose people willing to pay for accounts (like myself).

And it's sold-out on Hasbro Pulse, good thing this is not an exclusive.
I missed out on Cad Bane with Todo 360 and the Armorer Exclusive. I don't know why Hasbro Pulse doesn't extend their orders like they did with the Hasbro Pulsecon exclusives like Hellfire Club, ARC Troopers, and Endor set. Where they just say "available for order for these few days", and just take as many orders as needed and make as many as needed. They've shown that they can do it if they wanted to. |

Glad to see them return to the grown up version of Black Cat.

By the time that happens you'll be picking these up on the aftermarket for inflated prices...

She looks good, but tbh, I am really happy with the first one they released. So, luckily, no need for her, I guess...

Just finished watching it on Disney+. Good for the nostalgia, but the animation is hard to watch today with all the modern cartoons being heavily anime-inspired. Makes the blocky 90’s cartoons look like Gerty the Dinosaur.

Yeah, really similar to the first Black Cat, but just enough little details to warrant another purchase. Mainly, the lack of heels is a huge improvement. And I really prefer the hairstyle on this one over the original. However, I did like the fur collar and the small zipper pull from that one. Overall, prefer this new one.

Thank gawd I get to save some money for once... the first version is way better IMO. Also, I don't like that particular facesculpt the new one uses, wish they wouldn't keep reusing it.

I might be wrong...but this is only the fourth time that I can recall this facesculpt has been used...Moonstone, Warbird, and Jean Grey. It's a really good pick for one of Spidey's most enticing and beautiful allies (sometimes rogues.)

It was also used as an alt. head for Gamora in the GOTG boxset. Regardless, I don't personally mind the re-use as it looks pretty fantastic and matches very well with her animated series appearance.

Yah, people always use the Dark Phoenix calm Jean head for their Black Widow headswap... or their green Phoenix suit Jean headswap... or other headswaps... which means I always see that headsculpt in tons of pics... so I am kind of sick of seeing it all the time. LOL.

People do use it in customs a lot because it's a head sculpt that's easy to obtain and it can be used for any lady with long hair. Although there are a lot better options for Black Widow now, so hopefully you start seeing it less. |
