I find it a bit interesting that nowhere on the box does it acknowledge that he was called the Fallen One at this point.

Every Marvel Legends exclusive figure has been easy to eventually find at Walgreens from my experience. Walgreens stores are more abundant than any Walmart or Target. Practically on every other street corner in big cities. It's a shame they don't expand their toy section to become a bigger competitor with other stores

I think it's interesting that he be named the Fallen One (albeit, in an alt storyline) given that the 616 Fallen One is an actual 'thing' and was the first of Galactus' heralds...oh wait...or was that Airwalker..err, or was that Tyrant?

I liked how they actually used that though. King Thanos said he needed help killing the Fallen One and standard Thanos mocks him for needing help until he sees the "Fallen One" in question is actually Norrin.

I haven't read Thanos Wins, yet. It's sitting within a stack of Thanos themed TPBs I've yet to read; I'm currently up to God Quarry.

I figured there was some relationship betwixt the two given that the name and look are so very on the nose and confirmation of that fact was somewhat of a foregone conclusion.

Looking forward to reading what you mention as it sounds humorous, which I've heard is one of the biggest draws for that arc.

Yeah there's a bit of humor to modern Thanos regularly mocking his older self. Thanos is such an ass that even seeing a future where he gets pretty much everything he ever wanted only inspires him to ridicule his future self for being fat or needing help at all. Plus Cosmic Ghost Rider is introduced in this story and gets in some fun moments.

But regarding something more relevant to this thread, I already have my Fallen One Surfer. Got it from a friend in the great North last week. However, that did not stop me from ordering 2 this morning when this posted - and those jams shipped within 10 minutes.

See that Hasbro? Cosmic Marvel. Make more and I will buy. Make a Heralds of Galactus Box set and I'll buy at least two of those as well..

Yeah me too. Stuck in the limbo between hoping and making it a custom project when I'm less busy and see the workings from base pieces.

The darker paint job is nice, but never liked the mold and the proportions are off for me- head looks too big for his body and the added Mjolnir looks even bigger than his head.

But it sold out, not too surprised, if I remember after-market for the earlier Walgreen Surfer was getting bought at 3x the price.
