At the time I loved it, I taped it onto VHS, I was just ten years old when it was released and I was starving for some live action Marvel stuff, and I couldn’t believe they chose something so ‘cool’ as Generation X. It was the same with that made for TV Justice League movie, I taped that onto VHS and watched the hell out of that too

Yep. I have to laugh when I hear people complain about the CGI in the MCU today. The gen X movie was before foxes xmen or even Blade. We have it SO good now for comic movies. |

As for Hepzibah, funny you should mention her as she came up on the Legends thread a couple days ago. The usual concerns were raised about which look they’ll settle on – I’d prefer her more modern Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire look to complete what they started with the Polaris from the Warlock wave – but the real question is how well they will execute the creation of this deep cut.

I really hope not as I’d prefer a modern version of the character, but I also know better and expect that they will just warm-up the TV dinner that is Squirrel Girl and serve us a FA Hepzibah.
Boo! Hiss! Finish what you started Hasbro and deliver The Rise and Fall of the Shi’ar Empire version to match your first Polaris. There will be plenty of time to re-issue that Squirrel Girl body for an exclusive Imperial Guard boxset or Haslab (in the same vein as Mattel’s DCUC release of LOSH, Dave Cockrum’s other love). |
