I was SO hyped for it... I was 12 and was used to the animated series, which to me is still a fantastic adaptation of the source material. Not gonna lie I was shocked at the time to not see any a list mutants in that movie... didn't even realize Banshee was in it

Agreed. For some odd reason I thought he passed lol

Yep. I have to laugh when I hear people complain about the CGI in the MCU today. The gen X movie was before foxes xmen or even Blade. We have it SO good now for comic movies.

I was hyped that Jubilee and Banshee were in it, I had that Banshee figure with a whistle on his back that you blew into to make his sonic scream and I loved it, so seeing him on film was a big deal for my ten year old mind. Last time I watched it was probably about 20 years ago now, I might have to search it out to see just how shit it is and to see how much ten year old X-Men loving me forgave.

Squirrel Girl repaint with a new head.

I really hope not as I’d prefer a modern version of the character, but I also know better and expect that they will just warm-up the TV dinner that is Squirrel Girl and serve us a FA Hepzibah.

Boo! Hiss! Finish what you started Hasbro and deliver The Rise and Fall of the Shi’ar Empire version to match your first Polaris. There will be plenty of time to re-issue that Squirrel Girl body for an exclusive Imperial Guard boxset or Haslab (in the same vein as Mattel’s DCUC release of LOSH, Dave Cockrum’s other love).

If it's any consolation I do think that sooner or later Hasbro will tool up some "fuzzy" female forearms and thighs and at that point I'd imagine we get X-Factor Wolfsbane, X-Force Feral, and 90's/Jim Lee Hepzibah in relatively short order. Maybe a new Tigra too. I was...at least 25% joking with the Squirrel Girl repaint thing.
