So as I mentioned in the Christmas thread, I got some Star Case 5's for my MU collection for Christmas.

They're protective cases for MOC collectors, and were mostly invented for vintage Star Wars figures, but they're supposed to fit MU.

What I found out is that they don't fit all MU, like Cable, who is too wide.

Anyway, with 10 cases, I had a hard time deciding which should go into these beyond the first three:

Which figures would you protect if you could protect any?

Those 3 for sure

4. Classic Havok
5. Normy Iron Patriot
6. SDCC Black and White Cap America
7. SDCC Namor
8. SDCC Human Torch
9. SDCC Reg Cap America
10. SDCC Red Skull

Of course, most MOC collectors would have its original big packaging, so if you do, I would go with:

6. Sunfire
7. Silver Surfer
8. ????
9. ????
10. ????

Heads up, I just got the wrong kind. THESE fit all the MU, and there are two depths for those thicker guys like Thing. Scroll down to "THE ACTION FIGURE CASE™ for NEWER G.I. JOE'S AND SIMILAR"

Awesome suggestions! I'm definitely going with Havok, Normy and Silver Surfer.

So far:

1. Colored Vision
2. Blade
3. X-Force Warpath
4. Classic Havok
5. Norman Osborn Patriot
6. Silver Surfer
7. Black Panther?
8. Matte Electro?
9. Glossy Classic Electro?
10. Transparent hands Electro?

Just Blade and Mary Jane, they're the only ones I can't bring myself to part with.

Hey Peteparker, can you do a test for me? can you hang one up by the hook on the protective case and tell me if it hangs straight. I know with MU just hanging on it's hook, they are not perfectly balanced, I want to know if this is better.

Anything comic-con, warpath, archangel any of the 3 versions, vision either version, normy patriot, I'd use it for my CC thor, mandarin and other final wave IM figures.

Remember, Cable also couldn't fit so Dr Strange, Archangel, big cases like that is a naynay. So with that being said I think he should put Lowlight from Gi Joe in one of those seeing as, at least around here, is impossible to find.

After the three you have already I'd probably just choose your personal favorites and not worry about rareness.

Thanks for letting me know. I was looking into different ways of displaying my figures. My MU is starting to over power my room, I wanted to put them on hooks but they hang slanted.

This give me another option, thanks again.

They do need a lot more space to hang, FYI.

I just got a Pimp Daddy Destro that was shipped with a star case and the sucker is huge! Just last week I took all of my joes out of they're cases so I just fit more on my pegs. I kept about 1 pegs worth of cased stuff though. Like Kamakura and of course the SDCC exclusives that already had cases. I probably should put Vision and Blade in one too
