FYI. Despite their claim that this is the 1st 1/6 scale version, it is not. Sideshow released a 1/6 scale Creature back in 2003, along with a black and white variant.

True. Even Hasbro made a 12" Creature in the 90s.
This one, however, looks much better than that one.

I have to say, the silver screen version coming out of the water with colors in the background is kinda creepy--like that girl in the ring coming out of the tv in black and white lol

Sideshow also did an awesome "Creature Walks Among Us" 1/6th scale figure. I wish they would consider doing a new line of Universal Monsters. I believe the figures they did back in the late 90's are what put them on the map.

I wish this was 1/12 scale....I think I still gotta get it. I don't have 1/6 stuff. The only other Mondo 1/6 I wish more than anything I bought was the original tmnt design figure. Aftermarket is insane on that now....
I don't collect 1/6!!!! No! I'm not getting it....I'm totally getting this. I have to. It's AMAAAAAAAAAZING. The movie is so great too.
Also, there is no really well articulated 1/12 scale CFTBL figure. I'm very sure about that...right? I need one SO BAD.
I've thought about getting a reaction CFTBL but it doesn't do it for me.

..........................Pre-ordered.

Diamond Select made one not too long ago. Might be a little bigger than 1/12 since its Diamond.

Yup, exactly. Diamond made a Creature that's absolutely phenomenal. It's the Select size, so it is larger than true 1/12, but scales well with Neca and the like. They actually made two versions. The first was barely articulated. The second version is the one you'd want. Full articulation and improved sculpt. Actually, it's really impressive for a DST figure. Aftermarket on it is pretty ridiculous though.

Ahhhhh yes, I'm remembering researching that a few years ago. Thanks for the reminders. That is a really good one. 7 inches works for me better than 12. Ebay aftermarket is about 75-90. That probably scared me off the first time. It's not looking so bad right now. There aren't even many available. It was $22 at retail! Argh!
